Victoria, seemingly distraught, wept in Ethan’s arms, her wolf whimpering pathetically. “When will this end, Ethan? When will she stop trying to destroy our family?”

I stood frozen, watching this elaborate performance unfold before me. My wolf howled with rage and frustration within me, recognizing the betrayal for what it was.
