He tensed up again.

"Yes its true but no thank you I'll do things my own way." He leans toward her planting a kiss on her cheek.

"I'll be fine mom and we'll be here often too ok."

She nodded with a sad look on her eyes.

She knew she wouldn't win a fight against Adrian.

I think Adrian feels as if he's weak and that's why he is going against his father to prove himself.

He knows it would be better but he chooses not to see it that way. He doesn't doubt himself when it come to protecting me, and really neither do I.

We were back at our place and it was around three in the afternoon. I was still being carried. I thought I was back to walking. Guess I was wrong. When he placed me down to get in the car my legs and back felt happy. Being on his was a bit uncomfortable after a while.

But once we got home I got out of the car taking my first step in hours, but it was no use because before I knew it I was being carried again but this time bridal style.

The door was already open.

Did we forget to lock the door?

Or was someone in here... maybe still is.

I look at Adrian and whispered," Don't worry who ever was here is now gone."

So someone was here again?

He placed me down and I see a white piece of paper on the table.

I went up to it and read it.

I felt cold.

Why?

Why is my life so bad?

I walk to Adrian and handed him the paper.

A dark laugh erupted from Adrian.

I look up at him and saw pure fury written all over his face.

His hand clenched as if he's ready to battle someone.

I look at the paper again and I knew that I wasn't ever going to be allowed to leave Adrian side until who ever wrote this is dead.

I wrap my arms around him, so I could try to at least calm him down a little.

Adrian removes my arms from him and crouch to my level of height.

"Lily no one will ever take you from me."

It wasn't that.

I wasn't really afraid of being tormented and possibly killed.

I was more frightened on how many people will die to protect me.

I don't want to die... I don't want Adrian to go crazy.

I looked at him with a fake small smile.

I don't him to worry about me I don't want anyone to.

I don't understand this world what so ever.

I wanted to cry I wanted to yell, but it would be useless wouldn't it.

I see Adrian sit down on then floor.

He then grabbed me and placed me in front of him, embracing me.

His warmth was relaxing I closed my eyes enjoying the moment.

The room was very dark with only one dying lightbulb in the middle of the room.
