"You better have not slept with my daughter! Or I'm going to have to shoot your balls off!"

"But. But. I'm her mate..." Ash said confused. My dad shakes his head.

"This boy is fun to mess with Fay."

"Dad! This isn't funny! He's terrified of you!"

"Come on Fay. We both know you got your humor from me. Play along will ya?"

"Ok. It is fun to mess with him."

"Look you little punk! I'm going to take my daughter far away from you! How could you take her virginity!" My dad said threateningly.

"No! Don't! I love her! Please!" Asher looks at me for some support.

"I can't believe it Asher. You can't stand up to my dad for us?!" I said trying to make it look like I was tearing up.

"No! I just. Wait. What? No Fay!" He said trying to get closer to me. I dodged and went straight for my dad.

"I'm leaving with my dad!" I stated.

"What? No Fay! You're mates!" My mom exclaims. Looks like Dad didn't inform Mom about the joke...

"NO! YOU'RE STAYING WIH ME!" Ash said using full alpha voice on me. His eyes were black and he was shaking. He's going to turn into his wolf if he's provoked further.

My dad couldn't take it anymore and started laughing his ass off.

Ash's eyes returned to their normal blue and he looked at my father having a laughing spasm on the ground.

My mom was pissed off at my dad though.

"I can't believe you!" My mom shouted at him. My dads laughing instantly stopped.

"Come on! It was so funny!"

"Funny my ass! Excuse my language! We're sleeping in separate beds until our visit is over."

My dads expression. Priceless. Separate beds=No love from Mom.

"Noooooooooooooo!" My dad shouted. I started laughing at my dad.

"Fay?' Ash said through our now unblocked mind link.

"Yes?"

"What's going on?"

"My dad and I were messing with your head"

"Damn. I was scared that you were going to leave me."

"I'm sorry.' I really regret causing him fear.

"You'll make it up to me right?' He winked at me when he sent the message.

"Are you addicted to sex? I'm getting worried.' I said sarcastically.

"I can protect us," I replied stubbornly. She laughed a sad laugh. Like she had a dark secret no one else knew.

"Lets just be together for now," She said putting resting her head on my shoulder. I instinctively pulled her into a hug.

"Fay. I don't know what I would do without you," I sighed. She stiffened.

"Promise that you'll take care of everyone. And stay alpha."

"OK," I said unsure. She smiled and her lips were too tempting. I kissed her and she melted into me.

I'll never let her go.

Something is seriously wrong. I have to comfront Fay. Shes been acting weird lately.

"Jason. What would happen if a mate died?" I asked him looking into the depth of his eyes.

"They would go into shock at first. If they let the death get to them they can go crazy. If they get a good closure they can live and have a almost happy life again."

"Do you think Grace will get the chance?" I mentally added to kill Fay.

"Life is crazy. I don't know the answers to life. I can know facts and figures, but life is all a game. We can't cheat. We don't know if we won or lost until the very end. You can study for a test, but not for life."

"That makes sense."

"Yeah. In a crazy kind of way."
