When we stepped over the border, I started to relax. Being in Alpha Carlos territory always made my skin crawl. Especially when I learned who my birth parents were, yes the people I told were my parents was not really that. We found a hotel, and I was about to order a room with two beds, but Rose stopped me and said one bed.

Come back every night until I find her. And then I can bring you to her. It will go faster.” I suggest and hold her close in my arms.

“It is not a bad idea, I have a picture of her. But don’t ask too many questions if she hears, she might run.” She says.

“Don’t worry, I won’t, you will get a chance to get answers,” I promise her.

We sit here for a long time, and after a while I can hear her breathing calmly, and she has fallen asleep in my arms.
