Dad had used every resource he had to try to find out who had sent me that message. I had received more in the last three weeks but from different numbers every time. The number always turned out to be burner phoned and after texting me was never used again.

I was going to give birth in one-two weeks, so I was never alone right now. And today I needed something in the town area, and I had Noah with me. I was looking at some baby stuff I wanted, and I knew it could not be fun for him. But he not even once complained, just smiled and helped me with the bags.

“I only have one last thing to get, I am having something made for Enzo, for his Birthday tomorrow,” I told Noah.

“That is fine, we can go get that. I will put the bags here and ask some omegas to pick it up, and bring it home for you,” Noah tells me and smiles at me.

“Okay, thank you,” I tell him.

He put the bags down, and I saw him mindlink someone. I had always been amazed that he had always been able to mindlink the whole pack even though he was still not eighteen. I guess that is another sign, that he really is the true king.

We left the store where we had left the bags, and I led him to one of the more excluded areas of the town. I had ordered a special kind of necklace, one that would not break when he shift. It was made in titanium and with a little magic, with the help of Greta.

It’s a medallion with his and mine birthstone on the front. On the back, I had asked for the words “il mio eterno amore,” my eternal love. Inside, there was a picture of him and me. On one side, the other was empty, and he could put one in himself.

When we got to the shop the old man owning it wasn’t there, but a younger man stood by the counter.

“Hello, I have an order to pick up,” I tell him, and he looks closely at me.

“Yes, let me get it.” He said and went in the back.

He was gone a long time, and I thought to myself that he must not be used to be here. Noah stood next to me, and for some reason, he seemed tense. As the guy came back the door opened and three men got inside, but when they saw us there they waited.

I talked to the man behind the counter, paid for the necklace, and put it in my pocket in my hoodie. But then hell broke loose, and the guy by the counter reached over and stabbed me in the arm with a syringe. And Noah was hit by two stabs himself. I felt myself doze off before I could do anything, and also saw Noah collapse next to me, and everything went dark.
