After we got home Dr. Kendra had checked both me and Antonio, but she said we were both in good health. I thought a lot about what Mia had done, jumping in front of me knowing it would cost her, her life.

Mom had told the warriors to bring back her body, and then burn the rest. She told Dad that it should be up to me how to put her to rest. Dad had agreed, and they both said no, that no matter what she had done, she tried to save me in the end.

Dad and Mom were busy being there for Noah, who had been drained after the traumatic experience. His shift, and transformation into the power of the true king. The entire pack can feel his power, not as a pressure. But more like a feeling that the world is about change for the wolves in the entire world. And Dad and Mom were doing their best to help him. And after we had just gotten home Dad had asked what happened, and we told him everything.

We have been home for three days, and Enzo has not left us at all, he made sure that Antonio and me was taken care of. And I also think he wants to be close and loves being a father. He was there. Everything our little boy said was a noise.

“I think I want Mia just to get buried and have a stone. I don’t want a big thing, but she did save me and Antonio. So I feel like I owe her this small gesture.” I say while feeding our son.

“I think that sounds like a good idea. She wasn’t a good mother, but as you say, she did save you.” Enzo says as he is sitting behind me, supporting my back.

“I think we should reach out to Dad and Mom and ask if there is anything we can do. And I can tell them what I decided.” I say as I lay down our son after feeding him.

“That’s a good idea, I know they trying to help Noah, but I am going to be his Beta, so should be there. And your parents will think your decision is a good idea, and I think that’s why they brought her back.” He answers.

‘Hey, Dad, how is it going?’ I ask in mindlink.

‘Hey Princess, it’s going okay, I think your brother beginning to find control. But his Lycan keeps wanting him to find you. How are you and my grandson.’ He asks.

‘We can come visit, maybe that will calm his Lycan down.’ I offer.

‘I think that is a good idea. I will let your mom and Noah know.’

‘Antonio just went down for a nap, and we will come over when he wakes up.’ I tell him.

‘That sound good princess, see you later.’ Dad says, sounding happy.

I lean back into Enzo and tell him what Dad said about Noah, but Enzo doesn’t seem surprised by it.

“It makes perfect sense. His first experience was to protect you. I am sure he will calm down when they see you are safe.” Enzo says as he holds me close

“Yes, I think you're right,” I say as I fall asleep safely in Enzo’s arms.
