ROSE
It has been six months since the big party, and Alphas from all over the world have either called or visited. This also means that Enzo has been really busy, but even though he has he still makes sure that we eat together every day.
I was just finishing up making our lunch when I heard the door open and I heard three sets of boots. I smiled and was happy I always made extra food, and found more plates.
Enzo entered the kitchen, and I saw Noah and Dad coming behind him.
“Hey Babe, I hope you do not mind.” He says as they come in.
“No, it is okay. We have enough food. And I know it must be important.” I tell them.
Enzo walks upstairs to get Antonio, while Dad and Noah sit down. When the foot is put on the table we all take some and start eating.
“How we do about France? Sounds like the Rouge attacks have wolves from other countries. Could turn a lot worse than it is.” Enzo says.
“I think we should send some assistance, but we need to try to find out where from the rouges come and why,” Dad says. And Noah is thinking.
“Who should we send? I don’t feel like sending Enzo Matt, or Kyle.” Noah says.
“We send a smaller unit to start with. If needed, later we go, one of us.” Dad says. And Enzo and Noah think about it. And I see my chance to ask.
“What is happening?” I ask.
“France has been under heavy attacks. All the alpha’s. But Louis is the worst hit. His wife got hurt, but luckily she survived.” Enzo tells me, and I am shocked.
“I think your plan is a good one, Dad. If needed, I'll go,” Noah says, and Dad looks at him.
“Son.” Dad starts, but Noah interrupts him.
“It feels like I’m meant to go there, Dad. I am not sure why, but I feel it in my soul,” Noah says, and Dad nods his head.
It is not easy for Dad or Mom to see Noah growing up and to be the king he is. But they both know they need to let him do it. Noah has been doing well, taking his role as the true king, but he also had good teachers.
“Okay, I understand, but let’s try a smaller unit at first, or your mom will kill me,” Dad says and smiles and we all laugh.
“Okay, Dad, we do that.” Noah agrees, and I see Dad relax.
“I am sure Noah will be fine if it comes so far,” I say. Noah looks at me with a thank you in his eyes and smiles. And Dad agrees, saying he knows.
