I smile at it and shift before I disappear between the trees. Many of the wolves were trying to get a glimpse of me, but Lycian knew how to hide. We ran to the mountains by the waterfall and sat down on the top, looking down.

We watched wolves come and go on the ground, not seeing us, which we were perfectly happy with. It started to get quiet, wolves going back to go sleep, and we got ready to run home as well. She came walking out from the forest, looking around before she moved to the waterhole at the bottom of the waterfall. Madeleine.
