NOAH
We were shocked when we left the cars by the gate and walked into La Meute Fantôme’s pack land. Dead wolves everywhere, blood and body parts spread out on the grounds. The pack was built in old French style and I knew it must have been beautiful.
“So much death. This place is nowhere near recognizable.” Enzo says and I remember him and Dad have seen this place before.
Dad doesn’t answer but walks over to the body of a young girl, who is lying on her stomach with her face in a pool of blood. Dad carefully turned her around and what met us made me want to throw up. Someone had slashed her neck so much it was only still attached to the body by a small piece of flesh.
“I want to throw up.” Uncle Matt said with horror in his voice.
Dad did not answer but closed the girl's eyes, laying the teddy bear that was on the ground next to her into her arms. The girl can not have been more than ten years old.
Dad stood back up, without saying as much as a word, but the anger was rolling from his aura. We kept walking until we came to a big open spot in front of what must be the packhouse. Warriors were busy collecting the death sorting rouges from packmembers. One of them saw us and hurried over to us.
“My kings, Beta. Head warrior. Sorry, I didn’t see you. We have been busy trying to give the victims a proper goodbye. And get rid of the rouges.” He says, bowing to us.
“No, sorry, are needed. We are happy to see our men during all this without me having to order you to do it.” Dad says, and the warrior nods his head.
“it is bad. Many dead, even small kids. Some have been dead for days. So no matter what the Alpha was told they were killing packmembers. And from the look of it, many of the women were abused before they were killed.” The warrior tells Dad.
“What about Louis’ son? Where is he?” Dad asks.
“The boy is in the camp we made just outside the pack. I wanted to spare him from seeing this.” He says and Dad nods his head in agreement.
“Good thinking. He has been through enough.” Dad says.
“I will get someone to lead you there.” The warrior says and thank thanks him.
“It is bad, worse than anything I have ever seen,” Dad says and looks at us.
“We have to find them,” I say.
“We will, and I promise you that we will,” Dad says, and I nod my head.

When we got to the camp, Dad thanked the warriors who were there, and we were led to the officer's tent. Inside, the young boy was sitting on a bed with a tablet in his hands.
“Officer Brad gave him the tablet.” The warrior told us, and Dad thanked him before he left us alone.
