My mom then asked if we had set the wedding date. Braden and I stood up and Braden said, "may I have everyone's attention?" Braden said I and Cat have set our wedding date for June 1st. It will be held here at the compound. A time will be given out at the middle of this month. Everyone is invited. As we sat down my mom and Braden's mom said, we need to go shopping for a wedding dress. Braden said we could go tomorrow but at least 10 guards will be going with it and we can use the chopper. His mother said it is settled we will fly to Paris and find you a dress. I looked over at my children with their mates and observed that they have grown so much. I told Braden that they are now five years old and will start school next year. Their mates will have a difficult time with them in school. He grinned and said, I know. It will be fun watching them worry and most likely sneak to watch them at the school.

We all laughed and my brothers stated they were glad they didn't find their mates that young. I told them if I had it might have helped me to reject him sooner. Braden put his arm around my shoulders and kissed my cheek. He told me that I was well worth waiting for and if Jordan had not done what he did when he did, I just might have had to kill him to get him out of the way. I said I am glad you didn't have to kill him. He leaned down and whispered in my ear saying, tonight I am going to make love to you and have you screaming my name all night long. I looked at him and told him, I don't know, you just might be screaming my name. He laughed and everyone looked at us grinning.

As we looked at each other we heard a loud slap and looked over to see that Precious had climbed onto a chair and slapped a woman across the face. She was screaming at the woman to keep her hands off of her mate or she was going to kill her. At that time Precious leaned over to the table and grabbed a sharp knife and was trying to stab the woman. The woman went to take a step back so fast she feels on her ass. Lance ran over and put his arm around Precious's waist trying to take the knife from her. One of his friends Kevin was able to get the knife away from her. Precious then turned around slapped Lance across his face and jerked out of his arms. She screamed "don't touch me you bastard." My mouth dropped open and I jumped up to go to her when she got away from Lance and started running towards the house.

While running from him she was crying yelling, I saw you kissing her. You stay away from me you cheater. Kevin looked at Lance and so did the rest of his teammates. "Kevin said", I am only going to ask you once, and you better tell me the truth. Did you kiss this slut he said, kicking the woman in her side. Lance looked down and then at Kevin and said. Yes, I did but I am a grown man and human. Kevin drew back his fist and punched Lance in the face. He said boys let's go protect our baby girl from this bastard. He said, stay away from her. They walked away and towards the house to go be with Precious who they all adored and would protect with their lives. I heard several growls coming from my father, Braden and his father and brothers, and my brothers. Lance looked over at us and walked away. I could see tears running down his face as I watched him walk toward the front of the house and then his car leaving the compound.

Braden looked at the woman and said. I don't know who you are but I think it is time for you to leave. Be in my office at the command center at 9:00 am sharp. You can leave now. I looked at Braden and told him I was going to see Precious. I said she knows what it felt like to have her mate kiss someone else even at her age. I turned and walked into the house. The closer I got to Precious's bedroom the louder her cries were. She was curled up in Kevin's arms crying her heart out. "She kept asking why, why would he kiss someone else. He is my mate. He isn't supposed to kiss on anyone but me." Kevin told her he didn't understand either but they would keep him away from her if that was what she truly wanted. Through her tears she said," yes I do. I don't want to see him right now." She continued to cry. As I walked into the room the boys looked over at me. They had tears in their own eyes. Several of them stated that if she was their mate no way in hell would they kiss someone else. I heard her say, "Kevin, it hurts. It hurts so bad." She saw me and jumped into my arms. She asked, mama why would Lance to that to me." He knew that it would hurt me. Can you stop the pain, mama?" I told her no, I couldn't. I asked, do you really not want to see Lance. Crying she shook her head yes, "She then asked. Can uncle Shane take me far away for a while?" I told her we will see if he will take her to the new cabin in Virginia. I said that is three states away and far enough that the pain will lessen. I told her she will leave tomorrow. The boys told her they would go with her and she smiled and hugged them all. She curled back up in Kevin's arms and the boys surrounded her on the bed and she fell asleep. I told them I would let Shane know and that he and his mate Red will go with them.

I kissed Precious on the forehead and walked out of the room. I walked over to Braden, Shane, and Red and explained what was going on and Shane and Red agreed to take Precious away for three weeks. He said if at any time she decides she needs to see Lance they will bring her back. I said that is a good idea. Braden and I left them and walked to our room where he proceeded to make love to me and indeed made me scream his name out several times that night.
