Lance asked, what do you mean she is gone. Gone where? I said I will not tell you. All you need to know is that she asked if her uncle Shane could take her far, far away from here. "She said she needed to go somewhere that she can't feel the pain." It is bad enough for a grown woman to go through that but it is 10x's worse for a five-year-old to go through it. If my daughter dies, you die. I hung the phone up on him. I received another phone call stating that Lance had arrived at the compound. Then my secretary ran in the room and yelled the chopper is coming back. "Little Precious stopped breathing. They are doing CPR on her." I ran to my car and drove to the house. As I arrived I saw Lance on the ground holding his chest. I then saw Precious being carried from the chopper and Kevin running towards the house with her. As we arrived at the medical clinic the doctor was just shocking her to restart her heart. "I heard him scream find her mate, we need her mate now."

Lance came running in grabbed Precious hand begging her to live. He was telling her he couldn't live without her. The doctor had to put her on a ventilator to help her breath. I looked at Lance and said. You better pray she doesn't die. I went over to Cat and brought her to sit beside the bed. I told her I would be back in a bit and left the room. I noticed the whole house was silent. I went to my office to work on paperwork. As I finished I noticed it was 1:00 in the morning. I walked to Precious medical room and woke Cat telling her we needed to go to our room. Lance was asleep holding Precious hand with his head laying next to her side. We walked out of the room. I asked the doctor to call me if there was any change.

Lana and David insisted on having beds placed into the medical room that Precious was in. They insisted that she be between them. "Lana looked at me and said, Mama, David and I can't feel Precious anymore." I looked at her shocked. David and Lana had tears running down their little faces. "David said looking down at his fists she doesn't want to be here anymore." He then looked over at Lance and told him. I am going to kill you. Lance looked at him not moving. David said, gritting his teeth, this is your fault and you should leave. He lay down and rolled on his side holding one of Precious's hands and Lana held the other. He was rubbing circle on her hand." He was talking to her, telling her that she can sleep as long as she wants. He and Lana will be there when she decides to wake up." I watched as all three of my children slept. I slowly got up from my chair and walked out of the room.

Shane stopped me in the hallway and asked what was going on. I looked up at him and said. David said Precious doesn't want to be here anymore. I am afraid. I am so afraid she is going to die. I fell into his arms sobbing. I was in my office working on paperwork when I felt my mates pain. My leopard said, go to mate, she needs us. Go now. I ran from my office and saw her sobbing in Shane's arms. "I asked what is going on? Is Precious alright?" She said no shaking her head. She looked at me and told me what David had said. I stated that if Lance doesn't fix this I am going to rip him apart. Mates are to be protected, loved. Not rejected, and you don't cheat on your mate.

I turned to go into Precious's room when I saw Lance's teammates leaning against the wall. They were sad and some had tears running down their faces. Kevin looked at me and said, we can't lose our precious baby girl. She can't give up. He told me that Lance is in pain. He wants to have her back in his arms, see her smiling at him, chase her around the yard, give her what she wants. He knows he screwed up. As I started to enter the room Lance was coming out. He looked at me and said. I need some missions. I can't sit here anymore. I need to be kept busy until she decides to wake up and forgive me. I looked at him and told him to go talk to Randle he will set him up. He then asked, looking at the floor. "You will let me know how she is doing? I sighed and said, yes you are her mate".

My mother called me and said she and Cat's mom were taking Cat shopping for her wedding dress. She stated that Cat needs to get out even though Precious is in a coma the wedding plans must continue. I said, ok and she said they will spend the night in Paris and back in the morning. I told her would let the staff know to prepare the chopper. I looked over at the kids and thought Precious looks like sleeping beauty. I held back my tears as I turned and walked out of the room.
