Alpha's Unique Human Girl novel Chapter 22

"I'm sorry for whatever ive done, Please forgive me and let me release you." Titus says once everyone has left us. I laugh bitterly as I face him, "You really don't see why ive done this so you?" the look on his face says it all "I'm not going to let you set me free until you have done what I want, that is if I don't die before that happens."

"What do I have to do?" He pleads causing me to roll my eyes as I look away from him, refusing to meet his gaze. I ignore him as he speaks before he places a sorry kiss on my cheek and leaves, I'm not telling him what ive told him before. I just hope my plan works.

I stare in disbelief, I had hope for them and now she's locked away under his command, I too hope he gets his act together and sets her free before she loses her life. "I don't know what to do," I whisper as I shrink in my mates arms. "You've done all you can, It's up to them to sort it out."

"He's making everything worse. He forced his claim and now she could possibly die at his hand, he really is a monster." I whisper as tears leave my eyes, he's gone past the point of saving

"A monster with so much love for his mate he will die before she does," My mate speaks as he leads me over him, I watch the once strong Alpha as he holds his head in his hands tears streaming down his cheeks for the first time since he was a pup. "A monster who is seriously contemplating giving up the one thing he values for her." My mate speaks again as the Alpha paces around the room.

"A monster that is finally showing emotion after all these years. You may think he's gone past the point of no return, but personally, I believe she's already saved him in ways we could never." I nod against his chest as I stare down at the Alpha praying my mate is right.

I changed Titus' age from 22 to 24 so if something doesn't add up that's why, any way, hope y'all are enjoying this book ;)

He holds my hand behind my back as he leads me through the jail. I watch the rows of people lined outside the door as they watch me. Their eyes are trained on me as I get pushed along the path, all the way until we reach the cage. Another chain is placed around my wrist and neck as the guard pushes me down to the metal floor, once again provoking a growl.

Not even a minute after the guard steps down I feel something hard hit my skin leaving a large red blotch. My eyes go to a teenage boy around my age as he holds a basket of tomatoes. "Human Luna? Fuck that, I hope you die in there." Well that's kinda what it's meant for. I resist the urge to speak as my eyes find Titus as he strides quickly towards the boy.

I watch his large hand completely surround his neck. "Titus stop," I shout writhing in my place. True speaks to the boy, completely ignoring me "Titus put the boy down!" I shout once more, I watch the boy fall to the ground blue in the face.

"They can do whatever they want to me. I'm not their 'Luna' I'm a prisoner who released thieves and murderers from their cells. If someone decides to beat me black and blue you can't do a single thing about it." I speak in a finalized tone my voice directed at my mate but spoken to all.
