Chapter 1027 Confrontation

Nicholas lowered his eyes and met the worried look of his wife. After some thought, he decided to tell Tessa what Eunice had done. “I found the mastermind behind the stage incident.” Tessa was surprised and quickly asked, “Who is it?”

“Eunice.” Nicholas spat out the name coldly. Upon hearing that, Tessa was stunned. “How can it be her?”

It never occurred to Tessa that Eunice plotted everything. “Why is she doing this to me? Does she have a deep grudge against me?”

Tessa looked sideways at Nicholas in disbelief. Nicholas, however, had an idea and said as he narrowed his eyes, “Maybe she’s jealous of you. After all, a woman can do anything when she gets jealous.”

When she heard that, Tessa remembered that Eunice coveted her husband, and the former turned gloomy. I never thought Eunice still hadn’t given up. Moreover, she’s trying to kill my child and me. She’s mad, and I won’t forgive her!

Gregory heard the conversation between the two and angrily ran to Nicholas while softly waving his fists. “Daddy, this mean lady was trying to hurt Mommy and baby sister. We must not forgive her and make her pay!”

“Don’t worry; I won’t let her go.”

Nicholas made a promise with dark eyes.

In that regard, Tessa had nothing to add.

Although she had a good temper, she wouldn’t allow anyone to repeatedly provoke her.

The next day, since the truth had come to light, Tessa took Gregory to the orchestra training.

Little did she know that they would meet Eunice head-on just as they entered the room.

Tessa’s expression immediately turned thunderous.

Meanwhile, Eunice was in a bad mood too.

Eunice was going to ignore Tessa and leave; however, Tessa stopped her.

“Miss Eunice, don’t you have anything to say to me?”

“What do you want me to say?”

When Eunice heard that, she turned and looked at Tessa contemptuously.

“Tessa, maybe there’s some misunderstanding. Miss Eunice would never do this.”

He stepped forward to persuade Tessa.

However, Tessa only commented coldly with a sullen face, “Kellen, you don’t have to persuade me. I will never say that without substantial evidence.”

Kellen was stunned to hear that, and he looked at Eunice in disbelief.

“You are the mastermind?”

Eunice felt guilty as her eyes flickered.

Kellen immediately knew the truth, and his expression turned ugly. “Miss Eunice, why did you do that? What did Tessa do to deserve it?!”

Seeing Kellen was defending Tessa, Eunice became angry.

“I don’t like her, and her very existence is an offense to me. She is inferior to me in every way, so why should she have a happier life than me?!”
