“President Sawyer, I just got word that Soren withdrew his statement when he was brought back to the police station. He is taking all the blame on himself, and Eunice is acquitted.”

Once Edward’s words reached Nicholas, the man’s expression turned gloomy in a split second, indicating he wasn’t pleased receiving such news.

In a cold tone, Nicholas growled, “What happened?”

“Our people are working on the investigation.”
