Chapter 1051 I Won’t Give Up

On the table, it was filled with Tessa’s favorite Mediterranean dishes. Seeing that, Angus sighed. “I feel like I’ve completely fallen out of favor, Miss Reinhart.”

Tessa didn’t know whether to laugh or cry for him, but she knew that he was just joking. However, Louis on the side snorted and rebuked Angus’ comment. “Since when have you gotten any favors from me?”

“Uncle Louis, that hurts a little.” Angus pressed his hand on his chest and put on a wry smile. The whole lunch was filled with their jokes and chatter. Later, after some rest, Tessa proposed to leave.

“Let me send you back. I want to return to the hospital too.” Angus stood up, ready to send her back. aYet, she declined his offer. “It’s fine. My husband has already sent someone to pick me up.”

Hearing that, he nodded and didn’t say anything more.

After she left the place, she went straight to the orchestra because she received a message from Sofia. While she was having lunch earlier, the woman had asked her to come over.

“Miss Sofia, are you looking for me?” Tessa asked while entering the office after a knock.

When Sofia saw Tessa, a mere smile showed on her serious face. “It’s no big deal, actually. I just wanted to tell you about the venue for the concert. We’ll be having it at the Sapphire Grand Theater.”

Hearing that, Tessa was in shock.

Although the Sapphire Grand Theater was not a top-class theater, it was still a famous one. It had many reservations for several orchestras and professional musicians.

Yet, Sofia didn’t only arrange the venue for her; she even arranged for the concert to be in the near future. It wasn’t hard for her to imagine how much heart Sofia put into this matter and how many connections she had used.

When Sofia heard that, she was a little surprised and delighted. “It’s good that you can hold on to your original intention, but does your husband agree to it? Also, won’t your in-laws say anything?”

Tessa looked at Sofia’s worried expression and hesitated for a second. Then, she said with a smile, “Nicholas has told me that he’d give me his full support since a long time ago, and I don’t want to disappoint my friends who have supported me all this time.” As for Nicholas’ family members, she would convince them.
