At this time. Kylie, the housekeeper, suddenly came to the door and knocked on it. “Miss Tessa. Miss Mona is here to see you.” 

Tessa was a little surprised and asked Kylie to bring Mona up. After a while, Mona followed Kylie into the room. Coming in, she saw Tessa‘s weak appearance and asked out of concern, “Tess, why is your face so pale? Have you taken medicine?” 

“Miss Tessa has been refusing to take medicine since she came back last night. Miss Mona, please help me persuade her,” Kylie stood by and pleaded. 

Mona frowned and looked at Tessa with disapproval. “You are so ill; how can you not take medicine?”

After listening to Tessa‘s words, Mona sighed. She felt that Tessa was in terrible shape.

She could actually sense that the man was deliberately keeping a distance from her. Hence, she decided not to push it too much.
