Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Atrophy of Love: Mr. Harris, Stop Fooling Around!. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 404 Have You Not Told Him Our Plan. Let's read the author's Atrophy of Love: Mr. Harris, Stop Fooling Around! Internet story right here.
Upon hearing this, the doctors and nurses loosened their grip around Master Harris, but even so, he was too frail to do anything. He merely panted heavily as he glared at her.
“Among your three wives, you dislike me the most, don’t you?” Sylvia was all smiles, but the wide grin did not hide the sadness in her eyes. “I don’t need you to tell me that. You treat my side of the family harshly and order Charles around like a dog because you despise me for deceiving you.”
Having stage 4 lung cancer, Master Harris felt pain all over his body. He coughed violently as blood filled his mouth once again.
However, nobody helped clean him up despite how much of a mess he made.
His hand shakily wiped away the blood at the edge of his mouth and gritted his teeth. “Good that you know!”
Among so many people and so many enemies in this world, he loathed Sylvia Yates the most and he desperately prayed for her to die!
Sylvia snorted. “Oh please, do you still think you’re everyone’s favorite?”
Then, she turned to Aunt Jacinda. “Jacinda, have you not told him our plan?”
“I didn’t have the time but it doesn’t make a difference, let’s just tell him now.” With that, Aunt Jacinda put on her reading glasses and took out a piece of paper from her purse. “It’s a paternity test, have a look for yourself.”
She was still as gentle as before, bringing the paper right before him and shifting it to a position where he could read it.
Moreover, worried that he was unable to read clearly under the dim light, she thoughtfully read out the results. “The following test results prove that Mr. Ted Harris is not your biological son.”
Master Harris read the printed words himself too but he merely sneered in disbelief. “Do you think I’ll believe what you’re telling me by this piece of paper?”
Sylvia laughed and signaled Aunt Jacinda to put away the results. “Do you think this report is fake?”
“Is it not?” Master Harris scoffed at her. He refused to believe a single word she said!
Sylvia was in no hurry. “To think that you always praise yourself to be an intelligent man. Don’t you think that your third son and all your grandchildren from your third wife’s side of the family look nothing like you?”
Master Harris instantly froze and paled at her words.
“Did you know about your third wife’s lover?” Sylvia asked. “Well, you killed him so obviously you knew about him. Anyway, you broke them up and married her, but did you know that she was already pregnant then?”
Master Harris’ expression darkened even more. He propped his hands on the bed and tried to sit up with great difficulty. “Stop trying to stir sh*t up! I ordered a paternity test when Ted was born and I’m sure that he’s my son!!!”
He was certainly not stupid enough to help raise someone else’s son!
This b*tch must be trying to deceive him!
“Of course I knew you ran a paternity test. In fact, you went to several hospitals too, didn’t you?” Sylvia grinned at him slyly.
Master Harris suddenly felt a rush of uneasiness wash over him. He was extremely secretive when he asked for the paternity tests, and he even informed the hospital to keep this confidential information to themselves.
How did she find out about it?
“Are you wondering how on earth did I find out about it? You can just ask me, it’s not like I won’t tell you,” Sylvia said.
She smiled and continued, “I blame myself for being too kind. I couldn’t bear to see your third wife sad so I put in some effort, pulled some strings, and had the hospital hand you a fake paternity test result. Didn’t you notice that all your third wife’s side of the family all have fox eyes? If I’m not mistaken, your third wife’s lover was from the Phillips family, and what a surprise, all of them have fox eyes!”
Their faces immediately flashed through his mind and he paled even more.
