Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Babysitting The Amnesiac Lycan King. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to King Novel 99. Let's read the author's Babysitting The Amnesiac Lycan King Internet story right here.

Chapter 99
“I advise you to choose your next words very carefully.”
The silence that follows his question is deafening.
What happened at the apartment?
I don’t breathe. Neither does Liam.

Enoch’s gaze cuts through me like a goddamn guillotine, sharp and deadly. Forest green eyes, storming. Not angry. No–this is something else. Rabid. Untethered. The kind of rage that doesn’t just burn, it devours.
I step between them instinctively. We can’t go on like this.
“Let’s talk somewhere else,” I mutter, low and tight. My throat feels like I swallowed glass. Fuck it. “This isn’t–this isn’t the place.”
Enoch doesn’t fucking move.
His jaw flexes once. Twice. Then he tilts his head as though I just told him I’m pregnant with Liam’s triplets.
“Why?” he murmurs, turning to me with the heat index of fucking Sahara. He props up his brows and a whisper that makes the hair on my arms rise. “You scared of what I’ll do?”
Yes. No. Fuck, I don’t even know anymore.
Liam would die if Enoch gets his hand on him.
My eyes flick to Liam. He looks as though he’s ready to throw himself into traffic for the sake of diffusing this. You can’t take him even if you call on every last of your family to fight, Liam.
Enoch, however—he’s vibrating. I feel the shift in the air, the static, the damn storm winding up inside him. He’s not just mad. He’s unraveling.
And I’m afraid of where that might take us.
I swallow, moving closer to him again. “Just… not here. Please.”
Still, nothing. Neither of them moves as they stare down at each other. Ready to punce when the other does. Fuck this isn’t good.
No blinking. No shift. It’s just that predator stillness–power and threat. His wolf is stirring inside of him. I can feel it. Eris can feel it.
And if he shifts? If he shifts here?
We’re fucked. Liam’s fucked. And the whole city’s going to witness the Lycan King committing murder with claws. We already have one article we’re dealing with. Goddess forbid we have to have another one down.
A sigh leaves my lips as I run my hands over my face, inching closer to him. “Just–fuck, Enoch. Please. I’ll tell you everything inside.” I called with exasperation.
Enoch’s orbs turns to me, staring right into my soul and before I knew it, he tilts his head back, and he laughs. A single, sharp burst that has no goddamn humor in it but disbelief.
What is he-

Chapter 99
“You’re protecting him.” he mutters in realisation.
It’s not a question. It’s a fucking accusation. One that hits so hard I flinch.
My brow scrunches up. I move closer. That’s not it, “Enoch-
I’m cut off when someone steps forward instead. “Oh, please,” Liam bites out, finally stepping forward. Shit.
“For fuck’s sake, we kissed, alright?”
My blood drains. No–no, we didn’t! Almost, but we certainly did not! “Liam-”
I wasn’t able to continue, because that was all it took.

Enoch growls–a deep, wet, guttural sound that doesn’t come from his chest. It comes from the fucking bones. He launches with no warning and no hesitation. Oh my God.
He didn’t shift but Liam is down in a matter of second. I’m not even blinking as I see him getting pounced on.
“ENOCH, STOP!” I scream, so hoarse I don’t even think it’s my
voice.
But he doesn’t. He’s already on Liam. One of his hand is gripping his collar, the other curled into a fist that slams into Liam’s jaw. Once. Twice. Thrice. Repeatedly with each blow getting stronger than the last.
Shit. Shit. Shit. W–what am I gonna do?
Liam crashes back into the stone pillar by the courtyard entrance, blood smearing down his chin. He doesn’t even get a full breath before Enoch is on him again.
This isn’t the human Enoch. Not the one who scowls and pretends not to care.
This is his wolf.
And I’m the only one who can stop it.
“ENOCH!” I shove between them, my palms smacking into his chest. “ENOCH, LOOK AT ME!”
He doesn’t. His fists are clenched, his breathing ragged, and his eyes–glowing bright, unnatural, green fire. They’re not human eyes.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
If his wolf fully takes over, Liam’s going to die.
I grab Enoch’s face. Grip his jaw tight, force it down. His nostrils flare, lips curled back, teeth too sharp.
“It’s me,” I whisper, dragging my forehead to his. “It’s me, remember?”
He snarls–but doesn’t strike. Doesn’t throw me off.
I kiss his forehead. My lips tremble.
Then the tip of his nose. “You’re okay,” I murmur. “You’re okay, you’re with me.”
His chest shudders.
I press a kiss to his mouth. Not because I want to. Not because it’s romantic. Because it’s the only thing that works when his wolf is clawing to the surface.

Chapter 99
His breathing slows.
The glow in his eyes dims. His hands loosen.
I keep my body pressed to his, signaling to Liam behind me. Go. Now.

Liam stumbles backward. He doesn’t even look at me. Just takes off, limping into the shadows, blood still dripping down his
neck.
Enoch exhales like he’s been holding it for a century. When his eyes meet mine again, they’re no longer burning. Just confused. Human.
His gaze darts to his fists, stained with someone else’s blood. “What the fuck just happened?” His voice is gravel.
I step back. Just one inch. But it’s enough for everything to crack.
“You tell me,” I say, breathing hard. “You went full fucking psycho on my boss, that’s what happened.”
Enoch runs a hand through his hair, yanking hard at the strands. “You kissed him.”
