For the first time, Holger's gaze fell upon Nina, instead of Selena who was lying on the armchair. A trace of doubt flashed beneath his heart.

"Leave these to me, Mr. Crouch! You may have a seat and chat with Miss Duff first, I'll make you some tea!" Nina said.

After that, Nina left, knowing the situation. For the first time, Holger felt curious as he watched her leave.

"You sure have a keen eye in choosing servants, she seems to know how to make people happy!" he said.

She sure was the perfect candidate to be a servant, she knew exactly where her place was. She knew the things that she was supposed to know, and she didn't know the things that she wasn't supposed to know! That was especially so when she was talking!

She was definitely a trusted servant in the house. Holger couldn't tell whether she sided with Trevor more or Selena more at that moment, but regardless, as a smart woman who spent most of her time with Selena, he was sure that she definitely knew about the incident between the two of them! Others could have been kept in the dark, but not her!

Holger had told her not to make any rash movements for that period of time, and the outcome was that Trevor never came to see her even once, and instead, he and Victoria just got even closer in a short amount of time!
