After buying some daily necessities and health supplements, Trevor headed over to Selena's apartment.

As soon as he stepped in, Nina hurriedly greeted him. "Master Trevor, you're here! I'll take those!"

She took the things from his hands and shouted aloud, "Miss Duff, Master Trevor is here to see you!"

At that time, Selena had just applied a thick layer of foundation on her face and was holding a lipstick mid-air. Hearing that, she immediately put the lipstick back down. Getting up wobbly from the seat, she pounded on her chest with a fist unconsciously.

The moment Trevor entered, he was startled by what greeted him. In front of him, Selena looked haggard and pale. Trevor helped Selena sit down. He felt sorry for her, but for some reason, he didn't really feel like himself being there. Perhaps he had gotten used to Victoria's positive energy after spending so much time with her, hence the sudden gloominess took some adapting in comparison. Selena's face looked as if it was covered by a dark cloud of weariness, it made him feel truly uncomfortable.

Even when his eyes fell on her, he didn't dare to look at her for too long. They said that losing weight is the best way to look prettier, but it seemed that it wasn't exactly the case for all women. It didn't matter if she was chubbier, but as long as she was healthy, she'd be more pleasing to the eye. Right then, Selena didn't look pleasant.

After that, he walked out of the room and made a phone call. In the kitchen, he ordered the cook to prepare food, then called for Nina.

"Is Nana unwell recently? Has there been anything out of the usual?"

As they chatted, Trevor turned the TV on. He purposely did it, wanting Selena to eat more while being focused on the TV.

Trevor took some dishes for Selena, and also insisted on scooping her a bowl of porridge.

"No matter what, health is the most important thing! If you don't want to eat solid food, you should have some porridge! Nana, you're still young. There are still tons of beautiful things out there to witness in the world. When you get better, I'll take you out on a holiday!"

"Are you sure? Trevor, are you sure you'll bring me out?"

"I'm going to take a call!"

As he walked to the door, Trevor pressed the answer button, about to ask Victoria to head over first and they'd meet at the restaurant. Yet, before he could say so, sounds of sobbing erupted all of a sudden...
