"Hubby, don't be angry. Let me explain!”

"Hubby, wait for me. Can you please slow down?"

Along the way, Alicia chased after him with her high heels on. At most, Alicia could only touch his sleeves with her fingertips. Whenever she was getting nearer to him, he would walk even faster to create a greater distance between them.

She stopped abruptly and looked at the fast-moving figure in front of her. Alicia was in so much pain that she gnashed her teeth and bristled with anger.

"Frederick Clements! Stop right there!" she immediately roared.

Frederick stopped moving. He slowly turned his body sideways and narrowed his cold eyes. He thought, "It seems like this woman has really grown some nerves. How dare she scream at me on the streets?"

Seeing this, Alicia trotted all the way over to him. When she saw that he was in a bad mood, she pursed her lower lip. She suddenly felt like a deflated ball. Thus, she pulled on his sleeves coyly.

"Hubby, I didn't mean to make you angry! Why did you suddenly come back?"

"Am I not allowed to return?"

At the thought of this, Frederick became even angrier. If it weren't for her, would he have changed his schedule and dealt with everything in the morning just to rush back in the afternoon?

She stammered, "That's not what I mean, Hubby..."

Alicia tugged his sleeve coquettishly. When Alicia was about to hug him, Frederick suddenly shoved her hands away. She tilted her body and her bag was flung away by the force.

She was shocked. "My bag! What are you doing?"

She was already tired, hungry, and uncomfortable. She had even tried to please him throughout the journey. She bent over to pick up her bag and patted it. Alicia was also in a bad mood.

"Can't we just talk? Must you throw my things like that?"

Looking at how she was holding her bag like a baby, Frederick got even more furious.

"Alicia Blanchard, do you only ever think about money? It's just 20,000 dollars. Look at you, what the hell are you doing? Haven't you been judged enough? Were you considering selling yourself for money in the future?"

He poked her forehead and fiddled with her clothes. Her suit suddenly fell off, and her slim body was exposed. Thinking of the vulgar comments from the men around her, Frederick was infuriated. He pulled her bag and threw it away angrily.

He was so vexed that his face turned pale. He turned around and Alicia rushed to pick her bag up again. At the same time, Frederick got really upset. His expression was unpleasant as anger boiled up inside him.

"Do not pick it up! Throw it all away!"

Alicia did not listen to his words. She held her bag tightly and rolled her eyes at him!

He asked, "Didn't you hear me?"

She gritted her teeth angrily and held it even tighter. "I won't!"

Suddenly, Frederick was so enraged that he almost jumped. He grumbled twice and picked up the suit on the ground before throwing it at her. "Throw it away!"

As he said it, he grabbed her bag. He wanted to throw away the 20,000 dollars which she cared about so much.

Alicia's strength was not as strong as his. Therefore, she could not win him over. When she saw him opening her bag, Alicia clenched her fist and hit him. Frederick was so anxious that he threw the bag away. Suddenly, everything was scattered all over the ground. Alicia got so angry that she burst into tears.

"B*stard! Why did you throw my things? I've earned all of these! I stood there for the whole afternoon and my feet are sore too! What's wrong with me wanting money? What does it have to do with you? B*stard! I've earned them..."

She wiped her tears and turned around. She squatted down and picked up the items one by one.
