After taking the phone from him, Alicia was shocked. "Hubby, why did you scold him? He is my colleague from the company next door! You are going to offend him!"

When Alicia was about to reply to him to make peace, Frederick grabbed her phone again as he said, "Stay away from this kind of scumbag in the future!"

Alicia's eyes widened after seeing what was on the screen. She thought to herself, "What's wrong with him? I have never told him that Frederick'can't do it'!"

"Hubby, don't be mad! He is the manager of the company next door. We met each other a few times. That's how we got to know each other. He is a scumbag. He always sleeps with women he met in the nightclub and brags about it. He even talks bad about his own wife, saying that she is leftover. In the end, his wife divorced him and married a tall, rich, and handsome man in an instant. Since then, he has been bragging every day that he will get a younger and prettier woman. Frederick touched her unkempt hair dotingly as he placed her head down on the pillow. "Close your eyes and sleep! Don't think about anything!"

Lying in bed with her eyes closed, Alicia was smiling sweetly from ear to ear. After tucking her into bed, Frederick was about to get up but his hand was held by someone.

"Hubby, you won't leave me alone, will you? Will they kick me out of the room when you are not here? I don't think I can sleep well on this bed..."

"She has slept for a long time and yet she still says that she can't sleep well on this bed?" he thought.

Frederick lifted a corner of his mouth as a grin appeared on his face. When their eyes met, Alicia knew what was in his mind. She pulled the quilt and stuck out her tongue embarrassedly.

Frederick stroked her hair tenderly, but he didn't expose her thoughts. He walked to the side of the bed and uttered, "I won't go anywhere tonight! I'll sleep with you. I will get back to work when you fall asleep."
