When Alicia got home this day, her mind was still occupied with this matter.

When Frederick entered the bedroom, he noticed that Alicia was sitting on the bed with her legs crossed. She was wearing a colorful oversized T-shirt. Her hair was tied casually into a bun with a pink scrunchie that had rabbit ears on it. She was biting a pen in her mouth and there were two sheets of paper in front of her. She nodded her head from time to time, looking cute and funny.

Ever since she was around, whenever he got home, everything felt so different to him even if it was silent!

Was she counting her expenses again?

This was the first thought that came across his mind.

Frederick smiled slightly as if he was used to it. He took off his suit and hung it up. Then, he slowly walked towards her.

"How much money have you earned?"

Alicia was startled when she noticed that he was standing in front of her. She grabbed the paper and hid it behind her.

"H-Hubby, you are back!"

Why didn't she hear any sound?

Frederick narrowed his eyes, showing that he was a little dissatisfied with her reaction. He thought to himself, "Didn't she hear me when I was at the door? What is she thinking about? Why is she so absentminded?"

Sitting on the bed, Frederick reached out his hand to snatch the piece of paper from behind her. In an instant, Alicia's face turned extremely red.

"Hubby?"

"The first time?" Frederick questioned while frowning.

Except for the three words "the first time", the rest were all messy lines and doodles with "X" and "1".

Frederick was confused. He looked up and glanced at her a few times, yet he was still puzzled. Was she afraid that he would understand what she was writing? Hence, she changed it into a secret code or something?

"The first time? What do you mean?"

Being stared at by Frederick, Alicia blushed even harder.

"Nothing! I was just bored... I was just doodling!" Alicia reached her hand out and wanted to grab the paper, but Frederick held it further away.

"Would you like me to hire someone to study it and crack the code then?"

Biting her lower lips, Alicia couldn't help but roll her eyes and thought, "There is no way he could crack it!"

"Why are you blushing? Are you having a fever?"

Frederick raised his hand, trying to feel the temperature on her forehead. Alicia shook her head and defended, "You must have seen wrongly. It must be today's weather... It's super hot..."

It was late autumn, and it was late at night. How could she feel hot?

"Hubby, I'm going to take a shower!"

Just when Alicia was about to stand up, she was pulled by Frederick. "Haven't you taken a shower yet?"
