On that day, after coaxing the baby to sleep, Alicia took a short rest. When she woke up, she handed the baby over to the servants' care and went to her studio.

To juggle between her work and family, she vacated space in the study into her workplace so that she could make use of the occasional free time. She pushed the door open, habitually took a cup of warm water and opened her notebook.

She twisted her waist, her eyes inadvertently falling on the shelf on one side. She could not help sighing.

The whole row of shelves was full of new products sent by each manufacturer, including skincare, make- up, shoes and accessories. Frederick had mentioned to her that he would start working on commissioned purchasing in the country and abroad, so the evaluation of celebrities was one of the steps towards achieving the goal, and she could be regarded as a fellow member.

After checking her list of priorities, there were no urgent matters that required her attention. After playing light music, she walked to the shelf on the side.

The sun was shining. It might be a great idea to put on make-up for a beautiful afternoon date!

She walked to the skincare area. In accordance with her habits, she chose a tube of facial cleanser she was used to. She then selected a set of lipstick she recently took favour to and prepared to record a short testing video. Later, she took a hairband over from the main shelf that was marked requiring evaluation. Shaking it in her hands, Alicia pursed her lips in confusion.

"99? That's weird. It's an ordinary hairband. Why is it on the main shelf?"

Was there anything wrong?!

She stood on tiptoe and checked on it again to see that there was a series on the shelves, not a single piece. She fiddled with it and picked a bright green striped hairband to match her bean green t-shirt.

"The colour is nice, but it's too loose! Forget it, I'll give you a proper evaluation then!"

After removing the tag and choosing what she could use, she walked to the dressing table on the side and used the hairband to tie her hair up when she was applying her make-up.

As soon as she raised her head, the bright colour in the mirror grabbed her eyes. Alicia couldn't help reaching out to adjust it.

"It's really beautiful! It's quite comfortable!"

All of a sudden, she felt that the hairband was practical. It could serve as a decoration and would not come off loose. It was also possible to use it as a simple hair tie. The key was that it was delicately produced, and the price was reasonable. It was easy to wear, and the elastic rubber band stuck close to her hair, keeping it firm and tight in place, which left a good impression on her.

She first headed for the bathroom to wash her face. The hairband was common in the West, with a buckler in front and was tropically bursting with energy. She tied her hair up. She selected a pair of Bohemian earrings and blue contact lenses to match the hairband.

After adjusting the position of the camera and the lightning, she tried a few times before she began to record a simple recording. She first showed the audience all the materials she needed before proceeding to take photos of her bare face in the mirror. Following that, she introduced the cosmetic products one after another then applied European make-up. After it was done, she tested the colours of all lipsticks on her forearm. It did not end as she removed her make-up, applied her foundation and tested it again.

As the whole process was recorded in a video, even though Alicia was exhausted, she maintained her wide smile.

When she pressed the end button, Alicia slumped into the chair, her mouth burning with her limbs numb.

"Alas, I'm exhausted!"

Wasn't Mason in the picture? Why were Frederick and Trevor involved?

What was going on?

Alicia was so shocked that she tapped on the news and skimmed through it. She felt uncomfortable as if there was something stuck in her heart. Alicia fell silent. She didn't know who was right and wrong, but the young and decadent girl made her sad!

The girl was in her growing years, so Alicia was afraid that she might feel traumatised and experience setbacks in the future!

All of a sudden, she thought of her previous self. If the accident with Frederick had not been her lowest and busiest point in life, and if it had not crashed into Jeremy's return, she probably would not have come that far without being the slightest bothered.
