It was obvious that it was Hallie's plan.

If they hadn't caused such a drama, no one would've known Alicia's intention except for Miranda. Obviously, she didn't do all of this for others to see nor was it for herself. It was other people's selfishness that contributed to her glory.

This was also what touched Frederick the most.

This was the first time that the name, Alicia Blanchard, was deeply engraved in his heart.

Noticing that there is a warning in his words, Alicia pouted and said nothing. She did all that just because she cared about Gramma instead of wanting for his appreciation.

However, being thought of as a vicious woman still made her feel a little upset.

Frederick brushed his finger across her plump lips and couldn't help kissing her gently. "In the future, no matter how busy I am, I will never ignore my beloved wife! Ally—"

It was as if he was making her a promise. After hearing what he said, Alicia raised the corners of her lips slightly. "Hmm?"

It was rare for her to hear such words from him. Alicia knew that he said all these because of his grandmother. Thus, she just grinned.

Frederick held her face and kissed her lips again.
