"Well, I'm craving for shrimps. Fry some for me!"

Turning around to glance at the woman turning well-behaved all of a sudden, Trevor nodded.

"Well, I noticed it! For one capable of turning shrimps into a paste just by peeling it, who else could it be other than you? Didn't I teach you how to peel the shrimp through the thread method?"

It was a horrifying sight. Once the shrimps fell into her hands, nothing was left!

Scratching her head, Victoria gave a dry laugh. "I used a toothpick...but the shrimp was too fleshy and sturdy, so the toothpick snapped..."

She was incapable of mastering his skills. The toothpick technique was simple, yet she did a bad job even after a few tries!

Trevor mocked, "Haha. You're so stupid, yet you're trying to defend yourself!" Deep down, he pondered, "She must have wanted everything to be perfect, so she poked the shrimps several times, didn't she?"

After a brief wash up, Trevor turned around to steal a glance at her, asking, "Did you spend half an hour doing it?"

If he entered the kitchen at six o'clock on time, she would be flustered, wouldn't she?!

He knew her too well!

She lowered her head and stuck out her tongue. Victoria's face was flushed. She would never admit to the fact that she had been anxious from peeling the shrimps to the point of her being drenched in sweat. Turning around to retrieve the apron from the chair, Victoria made her way into his arms and skillfully wrapped it around him.

"Honey, cook for me. Add more chopped green onions. They're delicious. I like eggplants, so it's the last dish! Let's have spaghetti for our main course, shall we? We won't be at home tomorrow. If we have rice for dinner, it's such a waste!"

"All right!"

While speaking, Trevor turned the stove on, while Victoria turned to behind him. Although she wasn't skilled in cooking, she had a general idea of the kitchen tools and ingredients they would be using. Standing aside, she handed him food and assisted him from time to time, serving to be quite a professional helper.

Whenever the flames flared, her first reaction would always be to cover her head and face, withdrawing. Since Trevor stood before her, shielding her from the fire, she revealed a better reaction than before by standing behind him.

After interacting with her, Trevor had a rough idea of how afraid she was of an open fire!

Although it wasn't a phobia, she was always slow in dealing with fire and emergencies. Worse still, she might not react, frozen to the spot!

Since there were servants at home, she wasn't required to master excellent cooking skills. The two of them took cooking as their interest to spend time together and have fun.

"Honey! Honey, look! It's on fire!"

While pan- frying steak, he left the tripe on the stove as it sizzled. After stir-frying several times, Trevor added seasonings and green pepper. The stove was on for both sides, yet he handled it with ease. Two steps behind him, Victoria patted her chest, taking deep breaths.

Trevor was used to witnessing how shocked she was, as though the kitchen could be on fire at any time. Turning the stove off, he skillfully served it on a plate before cleaning the pan.

Holding the plate, Victoria giggled with her eyes curved into crescents. "It smells good!"

After placing it on the table aside, she gave Trevor a thumbs-up with a wide grin spread across her face. Seeing how he began flipping the steak, she leaned over, hugging his sturdy back from behind.

"Darling, you're amazing! Indeed, men skilled in cooking are handsome!"

"Well, women who can cook are beautiful as well!"
