"Hubby, have you finished all your work already?"

Whilst tidying up the office, Victoria jumped up from the ground. She had been in the same position for a fair amount of time, thus her hasty movement caused her to almost tumble head over heels.

"Whoops~"

Victoria instinctively grabbed a nearby sofa's armrest. At the same time, Trevor reached out his hand and yelled, "Be careful!"

"It's okay, I'm fine, I'm just a little numb!"

Victoria leaned against the sofa's armrest as she lightly hammered her legs to bring their senses back. She then casually grabbed her designs off the table and presented them to Trevor as if they were some thousand-year-old treasure.

"Hubby, the feng shui in your office is extraordinary. Being here filled me with tens of thousands of inspiration. Take a look at my designs, what do you think? Isn't it wonderful?"

Victoria was exceptionally excited. She tugged at his wrist with her free hand.

"At first, I didn't want to sign up for the Jade Cup Gown Designing Competition because I didn't have any good innovative ideas, but now I do! I'm glad I received these wonderful inspirations. Tomorrow is the deadline, but I've already signed up earlier!"

Things rarely went so smoothly for her. With the competition's confirmation letter in her hand, Victoria couldn't hide her joy and elation.

"I'm lucky, aren't I? Oh, Hubby, do you know where I got my inspirations?"

Trevor flipped through her designs and realized it was all pencil- drawn. Perhaps Victoria hadn't had the chance to color it just yet. He noticed how she incorporated cat-like elements into her designs. They were surely out of the box!

Her skills weren't bad at all!

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you, but you gave me the inspiration, when..." Victoria gestured her own back. The thought of it made her face redder than a tomato.

"That...That...”

It was the scorpion on his back that was the source of her inspiration. Of course, scorpions are terrifying and deadly, it would be unwise to directly incorporate them into women's gowns. Animals like scorpions and snakes suit men's clothing better, while women's clothing should be more feminine and gentle! If she had integrated the scorpions into her design, people may think that she was trying to bring out a message about the wearer being poisonous and vicious like a scorpion!

With the thought lingering in her mind, Victoria felt the pride and confidence radiating from her bones. She was especially delighted with her work this time.

His gaze fell upon her messy hair as he noticed the pencil on her little bun. Moreover, her swaying movements made her seem silly but cute at the same time. Trevor couldn't hold back his chuckle.

"Haha~"

"Hmm?"

His reaction stupefied her. Victoria paused as she stood up slowly, "Are my designs chucklesome?"

She swiftly seized her designs back and examined them. They were gorgeous!

The incorporation of cat-like elements into her designs was the highlight of her work. She didn't just design various gowns, but also some casual clothing. The cat-like elements made even the simplest white T-shirts look unique and out of this world.

As she inspected her work, the final product slowly appeared in her mind. She could even picture the most minute details. She couldn't find any flaws in her work, thus Victoria couldn't help but pout.

What was so funny about it?

Victoria held the drafts in her hand as her forehead poked out from behind the papers. Her motion made Trevor notice her black nose. The discovery only made him more delighted.

"Tidy yourself up," he tittered, "it's almost one o'clock. I've already ordered someone to bring us lunch-''

With a wide grin on his face, Trevor took off his coat and returned to his office.

Victoria chased after him with the drafts in her hand. She had to find out what was wrong, "Hubby, is there something wrong with my designs? Why do you keep laughing?"

She was the designer, perhaps that was why she wasn't able to spot the flaws and errors in her own designs?

"Don't just laugh! Tell me what's wrong-"

Victoria paced after him like she was his tail. She glanced at her designs every once in a while, her brows furrowed into a frown. The more she did that, the more she looked like a little pug with a black nose. Trevor was over the moon.

It turns out that the sheer sight of her could make him feel both physically and mentally relaxed!

Trevor was so busy that morning that he didn't even have time to take one sip of water. Despite that, at that very moment, he didn't feel tired at all.

When he went to get himself some water, Victoria was still behind him. She clutched the drafts in her hand and was deep in thought. She didn't notice how her silly yet adorable actions were pleasing him.

When he returned to his desk, Victoria grew impatient. She wanted a response, "Trevor Clements, are you going to say something or not?"

However, her motion was too sudden, causing the pencil on her head to fall to the ground. She picked it up and started grooming her hair as if she had suddenly recalled something. Trevor burst out laughing as he reached out and pulled her into his embrace. He then wiped her nose clean with a tissue.
