Wyatt blurted out as he held Waverly in his arms. Even he was shocked by what he said. Then he realized his deepest desire - he wanted to be with her.

"Did you think that I wanted to catch up with you? I know you're Mr. Perfect, and you do everything right. Any intelligent woman would know to behave and be content to be with you. With an angry outburst, Waverly violently poked the distinct scar on his neck. "I don't need your charity! So, you don't need to feel guilty at all. I won't blame you even if I die!"

While she was unhappy and did have an opinion about him after the incident, she did not need him to make it up to her out of pity. She would not repeat such a silly mistake!

Wyatt felt a sting in his throat after hearing her words. However, when he followed her finger, his heart sank again.
