Red light district?

Why did the term sound so familiar? It seemed that she had seen it somewhere!

With her eyes widened, the expression on Waverly's face experienced drastic changes. She subconsciously turned around and pointed to the housing agent behind her, "Didn't she say... Isn't that a high- end residential area where the upper society gathers?"

Was it the red light district she was thinking of?

Red Light District. The phrase seemed to have first appeared in the eighties or nineties in America because back then, prostitutes would place in front of the window under the illuminance of red light to attract customers, hence giving it its name. Red Light District later became the term for the profession, a phrase where such deals were carried out. Could such things be used to talk big and make lies up? According to the agent, only the wealthy, powerful and women with taste could afford the units. Was it as deceiving as Wyatt mentioned? Did the woman take her as a fool? Wasn't it afraid that she'd accuse them of committing fraud by introducing and promoting such buildings to her?

Two of them were saying the opposite, so which of them was the truth? Would such a large real-estate agency do such a thing?

In an instant, Waverly's eyes filled with confusion and daze.

"Do you know what that unfinished building used to be named as?"

Waverly shook her head dully.

"Sunshine City. A few years ago, it was a well-known unfinished building with crusade banners everywhere on the streets. Almost everyone knows about it... Later, an affluent man took the building over. Do you know how the building returned to life?"

In a daze, Waverly shook her head foolishly once again.

"They cast a wide net and raised beautiful women before sending and gifting the women as well as the units to high officials and wealthy men. Whether they would accept the gift or not was another issue to be debated. Except for those who escaped the net, it is inevitable for others to comply. A few gorgeous women can completely revive the building, so after a new developer took over the place, the name was directly changed to 'Angeles City'. Rumors had it that there was once a high official who kept three mistresses in the community. As for which buildings and floor it was, he could not remember clearly, but he vaguely knew that he had received the units as gifts. Also, it seemed to have been used to entertain business partners with relevant requirements.
