In the past two days, she got to know a little about the Clements family.

There was only one elder of the Clements family — Mrs. Clements, Frederick's grandmother. Therefore, she was respected for sure. Then, it was followed by Frederick's father and uncle, whose relationship seemed to be very close. It was said that Frederick's mother was gone since he was very young. Later, his father remarried and had a son and a daughter. They were Hallie Clements and Mason Clements.

Hence, Frederick was like an independent person in this family. By right, he should be the one who would be belittled in the family. However, why did Alicia feel that Hallie was afraid of him instead?

Right at this moment, the cat slid down Hallie's body and moved towards Frederick's feet. He kicked the cat aside. The chubby cat rolled over and knocked onto the corner of a table. It wailed mournfully in an instant.

"Meow! Meow!"

Hallie ran over and picked up the cat. She screamed with distress, "Why did you kick my cat? You even kicked so forcefully."

"Why is it in our home? Guards, throw this little beast out!" Frederick yelled.

"No! This is my cat!" Hallie shouted.

Upon hearing the voice, the butler of the Clements family, Levi, ran over with the servants. When they saw that it was Master Clements and Miss Clements, they were dumbfounded and did not know who they should listen to.

Frederick questioned again, "Didn't you guys hear what I said? Do you want me to do it myself?"

Frightened by his imposing manner, even Levi couldn't help but gasp. His gaze fell on Hallie's arms, and he was obviously in a dilemma.

"Here?" Levi asked.

Mr. Clements and Penny also came out when they heard the commotion. "What's going on? What are you guys doing?" they asked.

Hallie turned and ran over. She held Mr. Clements's arm and explained, "Dad, it's him. Frederick insisted on throwing my Baby! Dad, it's my cat. I don't want my cat to be thrown out!"

She tugged at his sleeve in a coquettish manner.

Mr. Clement's face changed instantly. Thinking of something, his lips trembled, but he still ordered, "Guards! Throw the cat out! In the future, you are not allowed to raise pets at home!"

"Dad-"

Hallie screamed in disbelief and held the cat in her arms tightly.

"Why are you still standing there blankly? You'd better throw it out!" Mr. Clement urged.

His voice became a little harsh. Hallie was crying while Frederick remained silent as he headed upstairs with his arms around Alicia!

"Dad, Dad, don't throw it. I'll put it in a cage and I won't let it out anymore. Isn't it okay?" Hallie begged.

After sighing and making a consideration, Mr. Clements still instructed, "Levi, send the cat to the pet shop and let someone take good care of it!"
