Not knowing how long she had been standing there, when Alicia returned to her senses, she felt her mind going blank. Only a few lights shone in front of her.

The shops were all closed and her body was so cold as if she had lost consciousness. Turning around, she returned to the car as she rubbed on the goosebumps on her arm and started the car in a daze.

The surroundings were quiet and even without looking at the time, Alicia knew it was already late.

After driving the car for two rounds, she didn't know where she could go. Feeling confused, she didn't dare to go to a hotel recklessly and drove the car back to Landrum Garden.

After getting out of the car, she realized that she had forgotten to take her purse. She turned around and went back for it. "Sure enough, it was the right choice to go home! If I were to stay in a hotel, I would have probably forgotten to lock the door!" she thought to herself.

If she was taken advantage of by someone, her life would be ruined completely!

As she held her purse, she remembered the prize doll in the back seat of the car again. When she carried it out, she couldn't help but laugh at herself mockingly.

"Home? Huh, what kind of home is this?"

In the past, she would've been able to take it as a short relationship where both of them took what they needed. However, she couldn't even calm herself down with that reasoning anymore. She was just sad and she couldn't take it anymore.

When Frederick heard the sound of the engine, he was extremely delighted. He had never felt so elated before. He rushed out as if he was running a 100-meter sprint.

Alicia closed the door and as soon as she turned around, she fell into a warm and powerful embrace.

Holding her tightly, Frederick felt extremely happy. Earlier on, he had really thought more than once that she might not come back and that he was about to lose her. In an instant, he wished to have her eternally.

"Where have you been? Why didn't you answer the phone? Do you know how worried I was about you?"

Alicia stood there in a daze, the corner of her lips twitching.

"Ally?"

Frederick sensed that there was something strange and let go of her slowly. He realized that her expression was indifferent and that her body was cold. He took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around her whole body. Alicia pushed him away all of a sudden and then flung the suit onto the ground.

"When are you going to stop acting in front of me? Look clearly! I'm Alicia! Alicia Blanchard! Not the Jasmine you are thinking about! I don’ t want to fight with you! I don't care what you have in your mind. Whatever it is, I don’t want to hear about it. I don't want to know anything! Frederick, divorce! No matter how poor I am and even if nobody wants me for a lifetime, I will not be someone's playtoy, let alone be someone else's substitute!"

Alicia cried angrily and even smashed her doll onto the ground. She yelled, "You are a liar! A big liar full of lies! I don't want to see you again!"
