"Frederick, wait for me!"

"Don't walk so fast! You haven't told me yet, what is the big deal?"

"Hey, why are you in such a hurry?"

"You didn't come all the way here just for a drink, right?"

Alicia's blood rushed up to her brain, the familiar sound was so close that she didn't even dare to struggle!

On the other hand, Jeremy, who was angry yet enjoying the kiss, did not recognize Carson's voice as the loud nightclub music was playing. He held Alicia tightly with his arms as if he wanted to press her into his embrace.

After a few strides, Carson caught up to Frederick and grabbed his arm. "Frederick, did you really come to drink?"

Frederick stopped and gave him a glance, then walked onwards with a smirk on his face.

Of course he had to pick up his wife! She was afraid of the dark!

He walked past the two people kissing on the side but looked at the man for a good few seconds. After all, it was a nightclub, that was a common scene.

Alicia was wearing flats because she initially went to accompany her father for his surgery, and Jeremy was so tall and big that she barely reached his shoulders. At that moment, the lights were dark and gloomy as well and her whole body was blocked by Jeremy's body, therefore Frederick didn't recognize her at all.

Both Frederick and Carson glanced at them but left very soon as it seemed to be a private situation. However, Carson's mind was full of doubt. He stayed silent for a moment but in his mind were thousands of question marks running around wildly.

Frederick actually invited him to drink at a bar that barely had any good wine? Had his brain been eaten by a dog?

This didn't seem to meet his high requirements and taste!

On the other hand, Alicia's entire body froze as she heard the familiar voice. Her heart was about to jump out of her chest.

Frederick? Why was he here?

Although it had only been a few seconds, it seemed like a century had passed. Alicia's mind went blank and all she could do was bite her lips. She didn't dare to move at all.

As she saw a faint shadow pass by in front of her eyes, her heart almost stopped.

At that moment, her feet moved a little, probably because Jeremy accidentally pushed her and a light tinkling sound was made.

Jeremy was immersed in the kiss and didn't care while Alicia was flustered and didn't hear it but Frederick was attracted to the sound. His eyes fell upon the half-exposed ankle of the woman. Under the faint light, the glittering piece of jewelry clung onto a pale piece of skin and the scene was very alluring.

Although Fredrick withdrew his gaze in a second, the image of the anklet was imprinted in his mind.

Very soon, the two disappeared into the corner of the aisle. Using all her might, Alicia bit Jeremy on his mouth and pushed him away. She raised her hand and gave him a hard slap on his face.

"You're shameless! If you dare to touch me again in the future, I will sue you! A*shole! I never want to see you again in my life!"

Wiping her mouth, Alicia said as angry tears rolled down her cheeks.

Blushing profusely, Jeremy finally realized what he had done and tried to apologize for his recklessness and wipe away her tears.

Looking at his perverted expressions, Alicia really wanted to give him a good slap, but she couldn't afford to offend him. If she were to make him upset, not only will the company be in big trouble, she will probably lose her job as well!
