In the car, the two embraced intimately. Sparks flew as they kissed.

If it weren't for the inappropriate location, Frederick would have wanted to engulf her right away.

No matter how passionate he was, he tried to suppress it. He didn't have a fetish for putting on a free show for others out in the open. He might have gone soft in the past but after what Jeremy had done earlier on, how was he to feel comfortable leaving her outside? Forget unreasonable. He wouldn't cower even if he had to commit a crime for her!

Did she expect him to do nothing but check on her twenty-four hours a day? Should he just lock her in the house?

What Jeremy was up to was only too evident. He was openly pining for Alicia. Frederick would be in over his head if he relaxed any further.

With her seemingly throwing a tantrum, Frederick's tone then eased up. "Be good. I promise you everything except this, okay?"

At that, Alicia growled gamely, "Then starting today, I'm going to sleep at my mom's house!"

In an instant, Frederick's face darkened again. "Alicia..." She was clearly picking a fight with him.
