The next day, Alicia opened her eyes and began to feel depressed again at the thought of reporting to Soaver International.

Brushing her teeth in the bathroom, she looked sideways at Frederick. Her gaze nearly burned two holes through him. It was a good thing she didn't give him a few kicks, let alone breakfast.

Meanwhile, Frederick was self-aware. He got ready and then headed to the office for breakfast.

While Alicia was changing her clothes, Frederick noticed that instead of her previous positive and sunny disposition, she was full of unhappiness. At that, he felt as if something was weighing on his heart. He felt very uncomfortable. He then went forward and hugged her.

"You should try to work at Soaver International first. If you're really not used to being there... we'll talk about it then."

"If I really feel uncomfortable there, will you let me leave?" Turning back, Alicia pouted with a pitiful look on her face.

Pinching her face, Frederick regretted being frank and outspoken. If he said yes, she would give up right away.

With her teeth clenched, Alicia didn't even bother grunting anymore. Instead, she turned sideways. Having seen that, Frederick took her by the wrist.

"Where are you going? Did you hear what I just said?"

Turning back, Alicia angrily shook off his hand. "Yes, President Clements! I'm going to report to the office now! Are you satisfied?"

How annoying! How dare he threaten her?

"Ally..."

Just as Frederick was about to speak again, he saw Alicia turn around in a huff and get her bag. She then brushed past him with her bag in a quick stride and walked out without even looking at him.

With a dry smile and a twitch at the corner of his mouth, Frederick fell speechless.

Soon after, there was the sound of a car engine starting outside the door. Frederick froze. She actually left that early? She must be fuming with rage!

Picking up his cell phone, he dialled Chet's number.

Meanwhile, the Randolph family was overwhelmed by a gloomy atmosphere early in the morning.

Grabbing her hair, Danica's thoughts were in a frenzy. How could this happen?

For someone as noble and resistant to women as Frederick was, he should not have condescended and forced himself into a relationship.

Suddenly, Danica was shocked to realize that she didn't seem to know him anymore.
