The next day, Alicia opened her eyes and began to feel depressed again at the thought of reporting to Soaver International.

Brushing her teeth in the bathroom, she looked sideways at Frederick. Her gaze nearly burned two holes through him. It was a good thing she didn't give him a few kicks, let alone breakfast.

Meanwhile, Frederick was self-aware. He got ready and then headed to the office for breakfast.

"Where are you going? Did you hear what I just said?"

Turning back, Alicia angrily shook off his hand. "Yes, President Clements! I'm going to report to the office now! Are you satisfied?"

How annoying! How dare he threaten her?

Just as Frederick was about to speak again, he saw Alicia turn around in a huff and get her bag. She then brushed past him with her bag in a quick stride and walked out without even looking at him.

With a dry smile and a twitch at the corner of his mouth, Frederick fell speechless.

Soon after, there was the sound of a car engine starting outside the door. Frederick froze. She actually left that early? She must be fuming with rage!

Picking up his cell phone, he dialled Chet's number.
