Alicia turned around with her head hanging down as she reluctantly followed Frederick.

They took the VIP elevator this time.

As the elevator started moving, Chet shook his head and let out a long sigh. He took out his phone and sent a text message, "Send me all the records of the male employees in the sales department. Yes, those with photos attached."

In the elevator, Frederick was as cold as ice. He was so angry that there seemed to be smoke emitting from his head. Alicia fluttered her eyelashes and looked at Frederick's while secretly licking her lollipop.

"How unlucky! It's such a rare chance for me to have a good time here. Why did he show up there and ruin it all?"

"This isn't fair! Sure enough, Soaver really doesn't bring me any luck at all! I really have to make sure to check the daily horoscope predictions before leaving the house now!" Alicia complained inwardly/

On the way up, the atmosphere in the elevator was quiet and depressing. Frederick was angry while Alicia was complaining about how unlucky she was.

Ding! Suddenly, the elevator bell rang. The moment the elevator door opened, the transparent door to Frederick's office showed a reflection of Alicia, who was secretly licking her lollipop.

He didn't know whether to laugh or cry. After glancing at her through the corner of his eyes, Frederick quickly strode out of the elevator. The oppressive aura in the elevator faded as soon as the rugged man exited the elevator. However, Alicia was not quite used to it instead, so she quickly caught up with him.

Now that they were at the top floor, Alicia was starting to feel a little more relaxed, and her eyes were no longer wandering around.

She followed Frederick to the president's office and as soon as they stepped in, a refreshing scent greeted them. Alicia looked up, and the first thing she saw was a flower stand.

It had already been many days since she started working at Soaver International. Practically speaking, this was her first time entering his office. She recalled that there were only jasmine flowers occupying the flower stand previously. However, it was different this time. The flower stand was decorated with all kinds of green plants, including a luxuriant money plant.

At that instant, Alicia was extremely moved. She felt as if her heart had fallen into a jar of honey. Then, through the corner of her eyes, she noticed that a vase of lilies was standing on the coffee table beside her. At the sight of it, the corner of Alicia's curled upwards as she popped her lollipop into her mouth and her eyes were like the crescent, bright and brilliant.

On the side of the office, Frederick took off his suit and draped it over the back of his chair. He was fuming with hatred as he wondered what Alicia had been doing all these while in the office. "Was she always this busy? Busy flirting with men behind my back?" Frederick said inwardly in anger.

Frederick then sat down and coldly glared at her with his eagle- like eyes. He snapped, "How old are you? Do you want me to send you to kindergarten?"

"How dare she eat a lollipop in front of those men? Is she dumb?"

"Did she not know what that meant? Did she not know that this is something that could make a man's imagination go wild?"

Alicia immediately came to her senses the moment she heard his mean comment. She lowered her head, spit out the lollipop, then subconsciously licked her lips.

Frederick didn't want to look at her alluring actions but ended up seeing each and every one of them. At that instant, he could feel that there was a burning rage tearing at his lungs.

"D*mn it!"

He swore under his breath. Alicia instinctively lifted her head with shock. Frederick had always been a graceful man. His usual graceful demeanor was so effortless that it seemed like he was born with it. No matter how mad he was, he would never curse. However, this time, Alicia actually heard him cursing!

Then, she said in a soft yet pleading voice, "Hubby..." she said.

"Why is he so easily turned on even during the day?

Frederick held her slender waist as he rested his head against her forehead. He suppressed his lustful desires and gently patted Alicia's cheek.

"Don't you know who you are and what you represent? How dare you flirt with all those guys at the office?"

Thinking of how she looked as she ate the lollipop reminded him of an innocent child, or perhaps a carefree young lady. Compared to many women in this ostentatious society who sought after wealth and popularity, she was simple. She exuded a bewitching power which he could not help but want to care for her and cherish her. As he thought about it, Frederick was exasperated.

She was his wife, and she only needed his love. What are those people trying to impress her for? Frederick grumbled inwardly.

Looking at her supple lips, Frederick once again couldn't help lowering his head and kissed her. Alicia was his woman and no one was allowed to covet her! Not a chance!

Alicia pursed her lips and an idea flashed across her mind.

She laughed as she said, "Hubby, don't tell me you're jealous? You're such a remarkable figure, of course your subordinates aren't just some Tom, Dick, Harrys. They are so talented, like Mr. Reynes. He's so handsome and capable. Moreover, I heard that most of the senior executives were graduates from elite universities. They're not only people with high education but also a gentleman. Plus, most of them were multilingual too... Now that Soaver has such talents, how can I miss this opportunity to learn from them, right? And I also heard that some of our top salesmen had million dollar annual salaries and most of them are bachelors too and some are even more good looking than the hottest celebrities!"

With every word that came out of Alicia's mouth, Frederick's face turned a shade darker. Even if she didn't notice that, the tightening grip on her waist definitely was noticeable!
