Because of this incident, Hallie was proud of herself, yet at the same time worried.

Originally, she thought that even God was on her side. With that gunshot, she would've died and everything would have been over and done with. Who would've known that she would make it through? Unconsciously, she started feeling a little scared.

Although she wasn't close to her family members, her grandma and parents were still around, so she hid at home for a few days. When she noticed that nothing had happened, she couldn't resist going out to party again.

She was like a bird flying in the sky. That night, she invited a few of her close friends and went to East Bannpool.

All the women gathered in the private room were socialites from famous families. However, once the doors were closed, they would throw their designer bags worth hundreds of thousands all over the place. They drank, danced, jumped around and partied wildly. They looked far from the prim and proper ladies they pretended to be.

A woman with heavy makeup and tattoos on her wrist poured the red wine while smoking a cigarette.

"Halley, didn't you invite us out to have fun? There aren't any outsiders here, why are you still putting on a show? Get some men in here! It's boring without them!"

Another woman with blonde hair grabbed a silver box and pulled out a cigarette. She then passed it to Hallie.

"Exactly! What's the point of coming out, if not to let loose? Come on, it's not even our first time here! East Bannpool's great at keeping things private."

Hallie had been extremely bored at home, but she was more restrained than the others and still took care to maintain her image as she drank and partied. She too took out a cigarette from the silver box and her gaze slid sideways. She looked like the leader of the pack.

"Any recommendations?"

Obviously, she was talking to the waitress in the room who was in charge of pouring wine, cleaning up garbage and running errands. The waitress lowered her head respectfully.

"We have some new men here. There's a guy named William. He looks like the celebrity Brian Haskell. He's 1.8 meters tall, is good looking and has a great body. He's also very tasteful. He's very easygoing and is fun to be with. He can sing and dance. It's always a full house when he performs! He's very popular! However, he's expensive to hire and he comes to work according to his mood. He's also kind of picky. I'm not sure if he's here today."

Hallie raised her eyebrows and said disdainfully, "Oh, there's such a proud male escort? I really want to see him!"

To put it bluntly, he was here to sell himself. Did he really think he was all that?

The other women present were contemptuous too. They started sneering and jeering.

"Well, how expensive can he be? Is there anything that Miss Clements can't afford? Find out if he's here. We want him!"

The woman who spoke out had heavy makeup and an enchanting figure. She was the eldest daughter of the Stewart family, Vallerie Stewart. Her family was in the jewelry business and had millions to their name.

"Ask Allen to come over too. I like him!"

The woman that spoke out this time was dark and slightly stout. Although her facial features were exquisite, she was taller than the rest. Coupled with the fact that she wasn't thin, she was at a disadvantage when surrounded by the other women.

Raising her hand, she threw the cigarette box at the other women. "I'm loyal! I'm not like all of you. You all will choose different men all the time!"
