Alicia was thinking about the same thing. She did not trust Frederick in the beginning, as she did not expect that their relationship would last this long. Her feelings were complicated.

"What did you say?"

Frederick was caught off guard when Alicia suddenly mentioned that she had a brother.

Alicia looked up at him and pursed her lips as she nodded.

He assumed that there were no secrets between the them. For the first time, Frederick felt that she was a mystery. Although he had her in his arms, there were still things that he did not know about her.

Alicia then told her about her family situation. She told him about her brother's affairs in the recent years.

"Actually, it has been a long time since I last saw my brother...." If her brother had been there for the past three years, she definitely would not have suffered so much.

"Do you remember the time I bought the discounted clothes and brought them to the hotel? They were for my brother! I had only seen him once as he left without saying goodbye! I have no idea what's going on with him, but I know that he loves me dearly!"
