Alicia tried on two dresses, kept one, and changed another one. She said, "I'll try this one on again, and I'm taking all of those!"

After saying this, Nicholas got up and was ready to pay the bill, "Are you sure?" He didn't want her to tell him that she didn't like them anymore after he paid the bill!

"Yes!" Nodding her head twice, she smiled and went back into the fitting room, "Don't forget to get me the free gifts!"

"Wrap them up for me please!"

After paying the bill, he followed the shop assistant to the other side. The shop assistant said, "Sir, these are the free gifts. You can choose any one of them!"

He glanced around. All were women's necklaces and bracelets. There were a lot of designs, and there were four rows of them, each in an individual packing box. The shape was unique and the features were exquisite. However, they were all silver ornaments. It was hard to distinguish them since they all looked very alike.

"How about this?" Nicholas said.

Just when he was dazzled, there was a sudden noise at the door.

"Welcome, Miss Jerald. You're here!" The shop assistant greeted her.

"Are my clothes altered?" There was a gentle feminine voice and a strong feminine scent. Unconsciously, Nicholas also turned back to have a look.

At this moment, another sharp voice sounded, "Welcome, Mr. Clements!"

Suddenly, the entire shop became lively. Standing straight, Nicholas narrowed his eyes, "Frederick?"

Immediately, his eyes screened past the fitting room and fell on the man who entered the shop lazily while rummaging with his phone. He was dressed in all black inside out, except for the dark green tie. The man seemed to be completely shrouded in darkness. He had a tall figure, a cold appearance, and an outstanding aura. His every movement was full of extravagance.

Nicholas narrowed his eyes subconsciously. He could sense his arrogance, and coldness. Even at this moment, Frederick's lips had a hint of a smile but not his eyes. He was surrounded by a cold aura that would not allow anyone to get close to him. The casualness and coldness in his eyes were very clear.

However, it was obvious that the woman beside him did not see it, or she probably pretended not to.

Soon, a shop assistant wearing white gloves brought out a pink silk dress and said, "Miss Jerald, the waist has been altered! The dress has also been shortened by two centimeters according to your request! Please give it a try!"

"Alright!"

After responding, Faye turned around and gently put her arm on Frederick's arm.

She said, "Then I'll go and change my clothes. Mr. Clements, you have promised to watch me do my shooting later! You won't break your promise at the last minute and not send me to the filming site, will you? Or else, I'd be very sad!"

A flirtatious voice was heard, and Frederick's heart seemed to be touched by something all of a sudden. In his mind, a charming voice roared like a meteor shower,

"Hubby, if you do this again, your baby will be angry!"

When Frederick spoke again, his cold voice had become warm, "I won't!"

"Wait for me, I won't take long!" Faye said.

Then, the woman took her clothes and trotted away. Frederick's eyes didn't even move for half a day, and his heart was hurt. Every time, only at these moments, could he feel her. Even if it was just a little, he could feel that she was still alive.

On the other side, Nicholas looked at the two of them from the corner of his eyes and frowned slightly.

Feeling low, Alicia's eyes fell on the black shadow that made her heart ache. She only caught the smile on one side of his mouth, and the tender smile beside him. However, she didn't notice the haggardness on his sunken cheeks, and she was unaware of how he dressed now. Different from before, he was completely in black. Even the shirt and watch were black, and there was no trace of color on his body. The tie was one of the sets which was given by her.

"Are you alright?" Nicholas asked.

Not aware of how much time had passed, the voice of her brother came from outside the door. It was not until then that Alicia realized that outside was quiet again. She slowly opened the door, dragged her heavy footsteps, and stepped out. She cried bitterly,

"Nicholas."

As soon as she spoke, she lost her control of her mood and burst into tears.

He stepped forward and embraced her. He pressed her head against his chest, but he did not know what to say!

He let her vent her feelings for a while. When she calmed down, he picked up the clothes on the ground and said, "Go pick the free gifts! It's time to go home! We can talk it out later when we get home!"

He stroked her hair and gently pushed her.

Alicia sniffled, but her eyes turned red again. She remembered he used to enjoy stroking her hair too.

Feeling a little embarrassed, she nodded her head and said, "Okay."

Then she went to the counter and glanced around. She chose an anklet. It was a thin silver chain with some droplet-shaped pendants hanging on it with a silver butterfly in between them. This anklet seemed to be designed for her past!

She used to have one before. Because of the bell on the anklet, she had even been caught by him and made him very angry!
