As soon as he spoke, Trevor suddenly realized. "It should be! It must be! Otherwise, how did she know the answer before he was even done with his sentence?" Trevor told himself. That day at the festival, he had purposely worn a mask to keep his identity a secret and avoid any trouble! Yet, she clearly knew that it was him.

"Why'd you ask if you already knew it was me?" Victoria retorted.

While she muttered, Victoria was still trying to figure out how to escape from Trevor's clutches.

Trevor squinted his eyes as he looked at her. He wasn't comfortable with the distance between them, so he extended his hand and said. "Get over here!"

Victoria leaned backwards subconsciously. She also pursed her lips tightly to indicate her refusal to his offer.

"What else do you want from me?" she thought.

In a blink of an eye, Trevor had already stood up.

At the same time, Victoria shouted with her eyes closed, "Don't come any closer! If you have something to say, just say it! I can hear you..."

Trevor grabbed her wrist before she could say anything else. Instantaneously, Victoria felt his warm breath on her lips.

Trevor dragged her forcefully and picked her up. "Are you a wild cat?"

"Can't you be a good girl just for a while?" he thought in his heart.

As soon as he said that, Victoria bit his neck hard. The immense pain struck him immediately, followed by a pungent smell of blood.

"Ouch!" That goddam woman bit him.

With a groan, Trevor released her right away. Victoria seized the opportunity and leaped away from him. Then she turned around and ran towards the door. In the spur of the moment, Trevor managed to grab onto a corner of her dress. As he pulled onto her dress with brute force, he accidentally tore the thin lacy hem of Victoria's black dress. In an instant, half of her shoulder was exposed.

"Victoria, stop!"

"Ah.."

Victoria covered her chest swiftly with the remainders of her torn dress. Trevor was stunned for a moment. Then, he quickly wrapped one of his arms around her back. Both of them were panting heavily.

"Let go of me!" Victoria shouted.

"Quit trying to escape!" Trevor warned.

Trevor's neck was still in pain. He was also irritated by her impetuous actions. He lowered his head and kissed her on the shoulder, leaving a visible hickey on it. The situation had turned intense, but the more she struggled, the more restless Trevor was.

"Let go of me! I said let go of me!"

Victoria pouted as she continued to bury her face on her laps. Next, she felt a big gentle palm stroking her hair. She trembled slightly, as warmth swept over her body.

"Come on, get up! The floor's too cold."

Trevor helped Victoria up slowly. This time, Victoria did not move nor made a sound. He put her down on the bed, then he picked up the bedsheet to wipe her feet before putting her shoes on for her.

Victoria was dumbfounded by his actions. She curled her toes. She glanced at him timidly from the corner of her eyes, then spotted Trevor drag a chair over and sat down in front of her.

"Aren't you Victoria? Why did Anthony call you Kimmy then? Is that your nickname?" Trevor asked.

Such an intimate nickname indicated their affectionate relationship. To what extent was their relationship for her to act so courageously for Anthony? Didn't Trevor's mom mention that Victoria just got into a relationship recently?

"My original name was Kimberly, I later changed my name to Victoria!"

"So I assume that you and Anthony have known each other for a long time?" Victoria's face turned pale instantaneously. She looked away to avoid eye contact with Trevor.
