Feeling annoyed, Victoria stamped her feet in frustration and lowered her head while gnashing her teeth. She pulled at her dress angrily.

"Oh, no! This dress and the high heels are a nuisance, it's impossible for me to run in them!" Victoria muttered in her heart.

With a single glance, Trevor saw through her entire scheme while he cackled, "You should blame yourself for not having long legs! Besides, no matter how cunning a rabbit is, it has only short legs, it can't possibly outrun a wolf!"

Victoria glared at Trevor, then snorted and rolled her eyes. "That's because the rabbit is kind and isn't as heartless as the wolf!"

Wasn't he aware that he was filled with malicious intentions, exactly like a wolf?

Once again, Trevor was amused by her reply. He couldn't resist his urge and lowered his head to kiss her on the lips. He smirked like a young boy who was in love!

Victoria's face reddened. She almost lost her mind. Sure enough, it was hard to change someone's character and this playboy couldn't even restrain himself even for a bit. Could he just

Victoria stared at him menacingly and was about to blow a gasket when out of a sudden, Trevor draped his coat over her. Victoria felt the strange warmth and domineering temperament of a man, like she was being cared for at the moment. Instantaneously, her anger subsided.

Trevor gently wrapped the coat around her, then hugged her again and said, "Let's go!"

Perhaps he wasn't as awful as he seemed to be.

Out of the blue, a shocking thought flashed across Victoria's mind while they were walking. "What's going on? This b*stard is clearly a hooligan. Why am I harbouring feelings towards him?"

It must have been the cold windy night, causing her to have those crazy thoughts!

Trevor's arm was wrapped around Victoria's waist the whole time. As they were about to enter Aria Heart Garden, Victoria suddenly stopped and pointed to a side road.

Looking in that direction, Trevor frowned slightly and asked, "Where on Earth do you live?"

"This way, we're close by!" she spoke in an ambiguous way to avoid his question.

The path would lead them to the back door of the Green Lux Garden. To Victoria, it wasn't an issue if she'd entered through the front or the back

entrance.

Trevor scrutinized Victoria for a moment before he marched along.

When they arrived at the back alley of the Green Lux Garden, Trevor suddenly realized something. He squinted his eyes and muttered, "Green Lux Garden?"

His question was filled with a slight hint of certainty, but Victoria merely kept quiet about it. Just as she was about to remove his coat, Trevor stopped her. Victoria understood the meaning of his reaction.

He wanted to walk her in personally!

Trevor was utterly persistent! If Victoria had known that from the very beginning, she would've given him an excuse to avoid the present situation.

They strolled in like a couple after they greeted the doorman. While walking, Trevor suddenly turned to Victoria.

"Why do you live here?" he asked.

The Atlas family owned a mansion in Casterwich City! Although the Green Lux Garden was a high-end residential area, its residents were mostly senior executives or the managers. It was incomparable to a villa's standard. The Green Lux Garden's villa was located at the city's center!

Was it because of Anthony again?

Upstairs, Trevor followed after her until they reached her unit. She took out the key and said abruptly, "This is it! You can leave now."

"Well, unlock the door then!"

Trevor's words were short and concise, it sounded like an order. Victoria was speechless for a moment. What else did he want from her? Did he need to verify anything? Why was he such a nuisance?

Victoria keyed in the passcode and unlocked the door as quickly as she could. There was a ticking sound and the door clicked open. However, before she could comprehend the situation, Trevor had already strode in.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?! You can't just barge in someone's house like that!"

The Atlas family's mansion had been vacant since Victoria's parents left long ago. She wasn't comfortable living alone in such a big and empty mansion, so she chose to live in the apartment she had bought. She had hired maids to clean the mansion in case her parents returned for a visit. After all, this apartment of hers wasn't small either. It was a double-storey apartment and she had more than enough space for herself.

After he entered the unit, Trevor glanced around before he proceeded to the second floor and ran straight to the bedroom. Victoria had no choice but to chase after him, she was visibly annoyed.

Her bedroom was huge and it was painted a simple but elegant blue and white color. The room wasn't the typical princessy type, instead it had a Mediterranean style. It was clean and minimalistic. There was a huge doll occupying one side of the huge bed. On the sofa, there were also other plush toys, depicting a typical girl's bedroom.

However, Trevor wasn't against it. He adored the aura that came from this innocent woman. There wasn't a single trace of a man at all. Obviously, she lived here alone and no other man had been there before!

Noticing how Trevor's attention was diverted towards the wardrobe at the corner, Victoria spread out her arms immediately and blocked his way. "Trevor, are you done yet? You have trampled all over my house! You should leave now, you aren't welcomed here anyways!"

Unfazed by her words, Trevor continued to walk towards the wardrobe. Victoria held him back and retorted, "What the hell do you think you're doing?! This is my home!"

"It's mine too from now on!"
