In an attempt to gain Sebastian's interest, Alicia pretended to be concerned and hesitant with bringing up her concerns.

"It's okay to have fun occasionally, but it will be bad if we get addicted to it! Two days ago, some guests were bragging about winning one million dollars in one night after spending only a hundred thousand. We were nearly green with envy, but then again, who knew whether they were telling the truth... Sebastian, let's change the subject. Here, let's have another drink!"

Observing his reaction, she felt a sense of loss.

Obviously, she had made all of this up on the spur of the moment, but it was indeed a good idea. It was not easy for someone who didn't really drink and always appeared very protective of his family to be dragged under the bus!

Looking at the gold and silver accessories on him, and the thought of him marrying a young and beautiful wife, having a kid and settling down with a fortune... Alicia's heart surged with the injustice of it all.

Why should he get a happy ending if he had killed her aunt to get it? Wasn't he afraid of retribution?

Since there had been no justice, she would seek justice for her aunt's sake! She would rather bless the world than let them live on, enjoying their lives! If he didn't give others a chance to live, what right did he have to get his own chances?

The only problem was, where was she going to find such a casino, and how was she going to get him to become addicted?

"You're right!"

They made a toast, and Sebastian's eyes dulled once again. Seeing that he was on the verge of giving up, Alicia couldn't help but feel annoyed. Still, she chose to smile dryly, picking up a piece of fruit and continuing the conversation. As the chat went on, they started to feel a little suffocated by the smoke. She rubbed her nose; opposite her, he had already started to cough lightly.

"Ahem, ahem..."

Seeing this, she signaled for someone to bring him a glass of warm water. Just then, Sebastian fumbled in his pocket and drew out something similar to a tablet. Tilting her head for a closer look, Alicia decided to ask.

"Sebastian, are you sick? Would it be better for us to head to the hospital?"

Waving his hand dismissively, he shook his head, explaining, "This is a lozenge that I got specially to take care of my throat! Would you like a piece?"

"Sure!" Having taken the proffered piece, she secretly broke off a small piece and took note of the watermark on it, before popping it into her mouth.

After a bit more conversation, the two of them finally got up and parted ways. In the act of turning around, however, he called out to her again.

"Hm... Misty, would it be too much of an imposition to ask you to get a hold of some details about the casino you mentioned earlier, in case of an emergency? After all, I probably wouldn't be so lucky as to have you to help me every single time that I'm in a slump!"

"Of course it wouldn't be an imposition! Since you're interested, I'll have Mr. Nick make some enquiries." Just then, a waiter hurried over with her keys, just as ordered.

"Miss Swift, are these yours?"

"Yes, thank you!"

The two of them moved towards the entrance, ending with some light topics...

With the unexpected breakthrough, Alicia was ecstatic for quite a few of the following days. She slept well that night. In the morning, she was woken up by the vibration of her cell phone.

Turning over, she grabbed her cell phone groggily, "Ugh, all of these are advertisements!"

Swiping through them distractedly, she suddenly saw an unread message that, upon opening, appeared to be from the test lab that she'd sent the lozenge to.

"Ginseng Throat Lozenge?"

Previously, she'd spat the thing out before finishing it, having expected to be able to have someone find something exactly the same, but they'd failed. It was only then that she had no choice but to send it to be tested. She had to buy something that was exactly the same!
