Although he did not know the specific reason, Frederick understood that everything which happened to her earlier on was because of him. At this moment, he felt sorry and was determined to protect her.

No matter how sincere he was to the woman in his arms, there was one thing that he was absolutely sure of- Alicia was his woman! Except for him, no one could touch her!

Alicia was confused.

She didn't understand what he meant.

Even after the banquet had ended, she still didn't understand what was going on.
