Inside the room, Alicia leaned her ear against the door but could only faintly hear the conversation outside. All of a sudden, there was a knock on her door and she was even pushed over when it opened.

"Hubby, you guys are done talking?"

She held Frederick's hand and scrutinized him. Then she stuck her head out to look outside the room. She feared that they would once again quarrel with each other because of the slightest disagreement.

When Frederick spoke again, he sounded like a completely different person, "Yeah, let's go home!"

Frederick placed his hand around her waist and took the bag from her hand.

Right as they were leaving, Alicia waved at Nicholas who was seated on the sofa, "Nicholas, I'll be leaving now!"

"All right, remember to come over and dance whenever you're free!"

Looking back, Frederick glared at Nicholas before he left the room with Alicia in his arms. Behind him, Nicholas, who held the wine glass in his hand, was chuckling so hard that his body trembled slightly.

Alicia instantly heaved a sigh of relief as soon as they got into the car safely.

"Hubby, what did you say to my brother? Is Samuel going to be a trouble for us? How about I accompany him for dinner and apologize to him!"

Frederick turned around and clasped the back of Alicia's head while he lowered his head to give her a fierce kiss, "Absolutely not! You might as well forget about ever having this idea!"

"But...?"

"No buts! He's a nobody and I'll be able to handle him easily!" Frederick gently brushed Alicia's red lips with his rough fingertips and whispered,

"If I can't even protect my own woman, then I don't deserve you at all!"

Frederick embraced Alicia and passionately pressed his lips against hers once again.

"Don't worry about it! There's nothing in this world that Mr. Nick and I can't solve together! You don't have to be afraid if you ever encounter these kinds of incidents again! People like Samuel typically bully the weak, but they're definitely afraid of the big bad. Trust me, they won't dare to lay a single finger on you! You can do as you please and I'll clean up your mess!"

D*mn Nicholas! If he hadn't told Alicia in advance, she probably would not have been this scared! As an owner of the nightclub, if Alicia was overwhelmed by such a minor problem like Samuel, wouldn't she constantly be an easy target then? It would've been better for her to step away if that was the case!

"All right!"

Alicia hugged him tightly as she leaned on his shoulder and said,

"Once Sebastian's concert is over and I've sought justice for my aunt, I can go back to being Alicia Blanchard and live a quiet life. By then, I won't have to show my face in public or dance anymore!"

She only had to endure for another week!

"Okay!"

Frederick affectionately stroked Alicia's hair as a light ripple became visible in his eyes. "By that time, we can finally be together in public again!" He thought.

All of the sudden, a clear scent drifted into Alicia's nose as soon as she arched in front of Frederick. She looked up and continuously rubbed her nose while sniffing.

"Rose, ylang-ylang and..."

Frederick pinched Alicia's nose and laughed, "Your sense of smell is really sharp, exactly like a puppy's!"
