Frederick immediately hung up the phone. He was still laughing after doing so, "Haha!"

At the other end, a beeping sound indicating the end of a call could be heard. Nicholas rolled his eyes subconsciously and thought, "I was just making a joke. His reaction is really not cute at all!"

Chet was taken aback to see Fredrick like this when he came back with a cup of tea in his hands. He stared blankly at him for a few seconds before saying, "Frederick, put what down... Why are you this happy? I'll put more down next time!"

The next second, Frederick instantly burst into laughter, "Haha!"

Chet was discombobulated by Frederick's unrestrained laughter. He looked at himself cluelessly as he began questioning his actions that led to Frederick's amusement.

Shortly, Frederick waved his hand and said, "It's nothing to do with you! Haha, it's Nicholas, he was just nagging at me! He's rather lazy but quite diligent when it comes to making phone calls!"

Upon hearing this, Chet couldn't help but smile as well, "He still has the audacity to say that about others? Hasn't he noticed that he's been garrulous too lately?" He thought.

"Anyways, did you find anything about the Lautner guy?"

"Actually, I did. Malcom Lautner was previously in charge of certain areas in Casterwich City and has an outstanding track record. He has indeed been promoted to a higher status in recent years. He also keeps a low profile and nothing bad about him stands out! Honestly, the entire Lautner family isn't a major force. He only has one daughter, but she's disabled. Therefore, he spoils this so-called nephew, Samuel. However, his nephew doesn't know how to save his face. Over the years, Malcom has been cleaning up all his mess!"

"Is that so? What is he like?"

Frederick calculated how he should go to the concert and cheer Alicia on or at least make her happy. "Also, make some noise. Tell them all four of the Great Masters of Casterwich City will attend the concert." He said to Chet.

Meanwhile, Alicia cooperated with Sebastian to have a full dress rehearsal for the last time before the concert.

The entire rehearsal ran smoothly; there were barely any mistakes. On the other hand, Sebastian either forgot his lyrics or went out of tune. He even stopped midway sometimes. The two- hour concert rehearsal was extended to three hours and more.

By the end of the rehearsal, dejection appeared on everyone's faces!

The rehearsal was a complete failure!

As soon as Alicia walked down, she overheard Sebastian's manager and the director talking to Sebastian. They were obviously dissatisfied.

"What's the matter with you? Did you not rest well last night? How could you possibly forget the lyrics during the rehearsal?"

"Sebastian, were you smoking or drinking again? Or was it something you ate? Why does it sound like you're having a sore throat? Something doesn't feel right!"
