"Stop beating around the bush! You're trying to imply that I'm the one she hates the most, aren't you?"

Trevor veered closer to Holger before he averted his eyes towards the brocade box on the table, "It doesn't matter. She despises me anyway, so it can't possibly get any worse than this!"

"Haha..."

Holger chuckled before he restrained his expressions and continued speaking.

"Trevor, hiding won't solve this problem! Ignoring the truth that you've been suppressing in your heart will only make things worse! Who knows, it might even backfire on yourself. You should know this better than I do..."

For the first time, he saw a depressed Trevor who was head over heels for a woman. Since when did Victoria sneak into his heart? Moreover, since when did Trevor catch feelings for her?!

"Does Trevor not realize that he's been acting weird ever since he ran into her?" Holger pondered.

If it wasn't for the last business trip and the recent incident, maybe he wouldn't have made such an impetuous decision on agreeing to this marriage. "Holger..."

As soon as Holger spoke again, an obvious frown appeared on Trevor's face. A clear sense of entanglement was evident at the bottom of his eyes.

"Trevor, have you been truly happy for the past few years? Despite the fact that you've chosen to remain unmarried for the rest of your life, yet you were still blindly attracted to Miss Atlas!"

With a message sown in his words, Holger averted his eyes towards him, "Whether he likes it or not, Trevor has to be responsible for his own flesh and blood!"

Otherwise, the outcome would be gruesome!

At this moment, Trevor had no other choice than to restrain his own desires!

"No one could rub salt on the wound more than you do!" Holger constantly brought up issues that shouldn't be mentioned. Victoria was indeed one of a kind, thus Trevor had taken an interest in her recently.

Holger was well- aware of Trevor's boundaries. Once he was done speaking, he slowly stepped out of the office with the documents in his hand.

As soon as the door closed, Trevor's eyes once again fell upon the brocade box that he held in his hands. In the box was a delicate diamond necklace. Below its platinum chain laid three inverted tulips that were embedded with pink diamonds.

As he looked at the necklace, flashbacks of the room filled with tulips surged through his mind. At that moment, he presumed that Victoria adored pink tulips very much!

He was determined to obtain this necklace the minute he saw it in the auction!

Previously, he actually wanted to surprise her with this necklace as a gift...

It was a shame that the day ended with a feud between the both of them. At that point, he completely forgot about his initial intention of giving her the necklace.

Never in his entire life was he this affectionate towards a woman.

The diamond necklace cost eighty million dollars!

Yet, it was a gift to Victoria who wasn't even his girlfriend...

Trevor subconsciously caressed the necklace as a wave of confusion flashed across his eyes again. For the first time, he was completely captivated by a woman's charm!

In the office, he was inexplicably gloomy for the rest of the day.

As the night fell, he received a call from Willy, "East Bannpool?"

He wasn't interested at all!

"Everything is finally done!"

Stretching her body, she grabbed her notebook and checked the entries before she added a few more notes under the list, "Missing a head feather accessory! The necklace needs some modifications, earrings... it lacks two flowers!"

It was a reminder for her to add them in the next day.

After a brief clean-up, she then closed the studio's door and headed back to her office. As she was about to leave, she was taken aback by the notification that popped up on her phone.

"What the hell?! Is he seriously trying to screw me over now?"

She cussed with a low voice and she instantly made a phone call,

"Director Vives, what on Earth did you do? My exhibition is just around the corner and you're only telling me that the model can't make it now! What about all the finalized dresses... How am I supposed to find a model that is the exact size as the previous one at a time like this?! I don't care what it takes, you better find me a replacement within two days!" "What are you talking about? A model... Do you mean Lisa? She suffered a burn injury on her thigh, so she can't walk at all..." Director Vives muttered.

Victoria was already losing her mind the minute she answered the call, yet his frantic voice and the pacing noises on the other end only made things worse. In an instant, she immediately yelled, "What are you talking about?!"

"Could you speak up, where are you now? Alright, alright! Tell me where you are and I'll head over immediately!"

She instantly hung up the phone in anger and swiftly texted him after the call. Fortunately, she received a prompt reply from him,

"East Bannpool?"

D*mn it, that explains a lot!

Her heart was fuming in anger as she grabbed her car keys, "Ugh, why has my luck been so bad these few days? Not a single thing went smoothly for me!"
