Interrupted by their intimacy, Rita was completely clueless about the scene before her. She then squinted her eyes as she gradually leaned closer towards him, "Master Trevor..."

Her sweet and dainty voice embodied a sense of mesmerization. At the same time, her restless feet started rubbing against his trousers.

It wasn't Victoria's intention to focus on Rita's alluring voice, yet she somehow caught a glimpse of the woman beside Trevor because of it. Averting her eyes away from him, she finally got a clear view of Rita as the bright spotlight was focused on her.

The curves on her body were visibly stunning as she had worn a revealing dress. Besides that, there were clear signs of hickeys on her neck which were seemingly left behind by a man whom she was with the night before.

Moreover, her self- consciousness was way beyond comprehension. It was obvious that she wasn't wearing any undergarments under those thin layers of gauze!

Victoria subconsciously curled her lips in disgust while she turned away from Rita.

At that moment, a slender young man in a light beige blazer walked over to them with a smile on his face. His hair was shining bright and the scent of cologne came from his body.

"Ah... Miss Atlas, you're finally here!"

Victoria's blood was boiling as she noticed a cheeky grin that appeared on his face. In that instant, she was utterly irritated by his arrival.

In the blink of an eye, Joshua instantly grabbed onto her arms. He then tried his best to fawn over her, "Darling, please don't be mad! Didn't I inform you from the very beginning? Look, I'm still trying my best to get you..."

In search of the target!

Each and every word that left his mouth was enthralling. He smiled as he turned around the table that he was seated at earlier. To his surprise, the woman whom he was previously talking to had seemingly disappeared. Thus, he simply chuckled.

"Haha... Don't be mad about that! Let's go somewhere quiet to talk about it."

As he held onto Victoria's arm, Joshua then brought her over to a quiet corner. Shortly, the both of them began their discussion in a whispering tone.

Trevor's heart sank to the bottom of the ocean as soon as he came to his senses. His eyes were fixed on the direction they had headed to.

Right then, Rita had poured another glass of wine for Trevor while she deliberately drew closer to him. Continuously blinking her seductive eyes, she said, "Master Trevor, what are your plans later? I've heard about a unique couple suite at the Hallmark Hotel..."

He glanced over to the spot where Rita was seated. At that moment, he absolutely wasn't in the mood to entertain her. Instead, an inexplicable sense of depression arose in his heart. He was completely clueless as to why he had visited the club in the first place. This alluring woman obviously did not ease his mind at all. On the contrary, she only made things worse. He raised his glass and swallowed the entire drink with a single gulp.

"Can you even afford a suite that costs one hundred thousand dollars a night?"

Swinging his harsh words, Trevor slammed his glass onto the table and grabbed his car keys before he left.

Rita's face was as pale as a ghost for she was shocked by his words. She persistently held onto his arms and shook her head, "Please don't be mad, Master Trevor. I wasn't implying that!"

He frowned as he lowered his head and stared at her, who had held onto his sleeves. All of a sudden, she immediately loosened her grip as though an unsettling feeling had drifted past her.

"Master Trevor..."

He casually took out a wad of cash and threw it directly at her before he turned around and left.

On the other side, the discussion between Joshua and Victoria had yet to come to a conclusion. Shortly, she followed him back to his table as she then noticed some of his friends who had waited there for him. In that instant, she quickly scrolled through some pictures on her phone as she tried to match their profiles.

However, an anxious feeling arose in her heart and she was unable to get a clear view of their faces as the pictures were pixelated. Besides that, she was also deeply affected by her surroundings that drowned her ears in noises. Right then, she sighed and decided to give up on the selection.

"Ugh, whatever! Just email me the details and I'll take a look at it when I get back!"

Exhausted by the situation, she swiftly stood up and headed towards the washroom.

Back at the bar, Willy shifted his seat for a change of view. As he was walking, he unexpectedly realized that Trevor had disappeared from the counter! All of the sudden, a thought flashed across his mind.

As he spoke, the bartender's eyes swept over to the menu placed on top of the table.

Willy nodded his head and said, "All right, we'll give it a shot!"

Soon after, the bartender then prepared the drinks for the both of them. Looking at the ice-blue liquid in his cup, Wyatt gently took a sip out of it as a disgusted look instantly emerged on his face,

"Ugh, it tastes weird!"

At the same time, Willy took two quick sips and said, "We're really wealthy enough to appreciate this drink!"

Their twenty thousand dollars were thrown straight down the drain!

Subsequently, the both of them did not touch their glasses ever again. Seeing a lady in red that swiftly walked past him, Willy then turned around and spoke.

"Huh, why is she still here? Where on Earth has Trevor gone then?"

"What's the matter?" Wyatt replied.

At that moment, he quickly told Wyatt about the auction that happened earlier in the evening. Wyatt smiled as he picked up his phone, "Let me give him a call!"

Right then, Trevor had stepped out of East Bannpool for a puff of his cigarette. Before he could even reach for it, his phone suddenly rang.

At the same time, Victoria got out of the washroom and made a turn to the exit as quickly as she could. Sadly, the both of them had missed each other by a split second.

Striding out of East Bannpool, the pain in her head had settled down but her stomach started to grumble. It was then she remembered that she had yet to have anything for dinner, she then turned around and strolled down the sidewalk.

She bought herself some fresh snacks at a nearby shop. As soon as she took her first bite, her head turned inadvertently to a corner. She saw a couple who walked out from a side door of the park while the woman draped the man's coat over herself. Both of them were walking side by side while they giggled and laughed together...
