Carson dashed to the door in a swift movement, but he suddenly stopped as his hand rested on the doorknob. He wondered, "Does Frederick care about this woman? It seems inappropriate to mention another woman at this time!"

Scratching his head, Carson felt inexplicably agitated. "This is frustrating!"

"Should I say it or not?" he wondered.

He was not sure about Frederick's true feelings. After a moment's hesitation, he retreated his steps. "Forget it. I'll talk about Danica's matter another day!"

That night, Alicia stayed in the hospital. Frederick also stayed there to accompany her for the night.

When Alicia opened her eyes in the morning, there was a sense of unfamiliarity before her eyes.

Her face fell, and she couldn't hide her hurt emotions. She really didn't expect Jeremy to be so shameless! If it were another man who had a bad temper, she might be beaten to death now!

If she really did something wrong or did something bad, she would feel that she had deserved it. But being criticized like this was really annoying. However, she felt lucky at the same time. She stuck to her guns no matter how much she loved him at that time and didn't do anything out of line.
