Trevor felt that her explosion of emotion that day was a little too sudden as if something had happened. He was unusually patient, and didn't ask for an answer. Instead, he led her into the dining room and changed their seatings from the normal seats to an individual private room.

Knowing that she liked hot and soft food, Trevor specially chose a hotel that specialized in making soup.

"How about you try it? It's their specialty, codfish, and it tastes great!"

He had just picked up the lemon sauce but before he could hand it over to her, the piece of fish was already squished by her. Then, just like before, she only ate a little and pushed it aside. After that, she picked up a small piece and put it into her mouth again.

His hand stopped in mid-air. No matter how stupid he was, Trevor noticed that her anger was directed towards him!

"Don't tell me it's my fault for giving you the cold shoulder recently?"

Trevor was just saying it as a casual joke. When it was near the end of the year, he had to attend more annual meetings than ever! Moreover, if he wanted to get married and go on a honeymoon, he had to spare a lot of time so he needed to finish a lot of work in advance!
