Alicia didn't know how she got home, but she never stopped thinking about what she had witnessed just now. When she entered the house, she didn't even notice the car parked on the side.

When he came out of the bathroom, Frederick saw her entering the room in a daze. "Where have you been? It's so late already."

Alicia was surprised and let out a cry.

He was back already?

Looking at her surprised look, Frederick frowned as well. "What did you do behind my back? Why do you look so frightened?"

Who on earth was the one who did something behind her back?

In an instant, Alicia felt that he was an eye- sore while looking at him. "I only went out for a meal!".

She turned around and went to take her nightdress. She wondered if she should ask about what she had witnessed just now. After thinking for a long time, she still swallowed it. Unnoticedly, she showed a little of her gloominess.

After washing up, Alicia climbed into bed and pulled the quilt forcefully. Frederick couldn’t ignore it at this moment.

Taking out the car key, he handed it to her and said, "You have a driving license, don't you? This is for

you!"

"It's just a tool for transportation! Can't you have a rich relative or friend? Just drive the car. Someone will help you with the regular maintenance! Do you want to come home late every day and let me wait for you?" Frederick said.

Alicia did not speak, but she knew what he meant. The car was for her to drive, not a gift for her!

The sudden realization made her feel at ease, but also made her inexplicably unhappy. It seemed that she was cheap in his eyes! However, when she thought that if he gave her a large sum of money frequently, she would not be happy either!
