"Ah!"

All of a sudden, Caroline was startled, and her eyes nearly popped out of her head. She patted her chest and took two strides back.

Where did he come from?

As he played with the cell phone in his hand, Nicholas once again averted his eyes towards her. What a fussy little girl! He thought.

The long chalk- white dress that she was in matched her fair and round face. Besides that, her snow-white skin and ruddy cheeks made it seem like she was tender and cute. At that moment, Caroline was restlessly fiddling her little hands. It felt as if she was a girl that hadn't grown up yet!

"Why are you following me?"

As he repeated his words, Nicholas couldn't help but sized her up from head to toe. Shortly, he chuckled and said, "Oh, are you searching for your brother again?"

She pursed her lips and lowered her head. Right then, Caroline's face was gradually flushed. She would have used that same excuse again if Nicholas had said it a second later!

Caroline puffed out her cheeks and shook her head continuously.

Overjoyed, Nicholas raised his hand and pinched her cheek. "What do you have in mind? Spill it! I promise I won't tell anyone!"

Caroline's heart skipped a beat as soon as he touched her. She gradually became more nervous than she previously was. At that moment, she took a step back and said with a soft tone,

"Um... Um... I wanted to say... thank you!"

That day, she had been fortunate to bump into him!

As she calmed down, the only thought that was flashing through her mind was the scene where he saved the damsel in distress. For the past few days, Caroline even dreamed about him. She felt like she was slowly going insane.

Nicholas chuckled and said, "Have you been following me all this while just to tell me this?"

"This is a famous hot spring hotel. The ballroom is separated from the bedrooms and the hot spring annex is just next door! Earlier, Trevor mentioned that he booked a room here for three days. Right then, I also realized that I haven't taken you to a hot spring before. The hot spring in this hotel is noted for its 'female hot spring pool'.
